The "Germans" as a nation, had no idea Hitler had secret Holocaust death camps in the east, run by Ukrainians.
It is wrong to blame Germans for WWII or the Holocaust, neither of which were caused by average Germans.
In fact, it is more fair to blame the US for WWII and the Holocaust than it is average Germans.
It was US companies like Std Oil, US Steel, GM, etc. who financed Hitler.
The US was guilty of attacking innocent Germans and starving them in WWI, which then caused WWII.
The German people were the victims of US aggression, not guilty.

Contrary to Obama's misstatemnt of American exceptionalism, we are simply a higher level of human development than any other nation.
