We WERE suckers to Europe. That had to change. People have short memories so I'll remind all of you. About 8 years ago Trump went to Germany to speak to the NATO countries. He looked Angela Merkel in the eye and asked her "Why are we paying for most of your defense against Russia and you are 100% dependent on Russian gas and oil?" That was when Europe knew the free lunch from America was over. And do you know what happened next? Europe started weening itself off Russian oil and gas and modernized its military and most importantly, started paying its fair share to NATO.
