Debate Now A Hard Look at the MAGA Movement

No, we need to properly process the people who apply for it, so it takes 180 days instead of 8 years.
We should renounce any treaties that globalists use as their excuse for packing America with foreigners

Then stop the family reunification program

We can still allow for immigration, but not under the generous terms we have had since 1965

In your case it will be impractical to deport everyone or turn down every request of “war brides” already living in the US

But only after we stop the bleeding at the border

Um, no, actually, those treaties protect our citizens when they travel overseas.

Then stop the family reunification program

Um, no. Probably hard to do that. Once they become citizens, they can sponsor someone else.

Why not? Frankly, if anything, we probably need more immigrants because Americans aren't reproducing at replacement rates.

You must have been one of those kids who kept touching the stove after you were told not to.

My wife got her permanent residency card today, I know that just burns you up.

No

The treaties mandating the treatment of refugees have nothing to do with American citizens on vacation

How did he do that? Give specifics!

I mean other than being a black man who accomplished more than you ever will.

That's not what this is about.

We know what that is like if you travel to places like South America or Africa.

This is about why we need to make her "great again" and what that looks like.
Okay. A household can get by and live with 1 man working a decent job, you can own your home,
Taxes and electricity and maintenance is all affordable. You can afford several children, the wife can
stay home and be an excellent homemaker if that what she wants to do. AND you can own either an RV
or boat and take a 2-week vacation once a year.
All that has to happen for that to be a reality again is for government to get out of the peoples' pockets.
Also, cops used to be good guys and had discretion on the things they did.
Cops are no longer good guys, they're just "Law enforcement" now, so whatever some possibly dumbass law has been put into place by probably an idiot, they are going to enforce to the Nth degree or their superiors are going to give them hell. That's not good, and it doesn't lead to good things. It doesn't lead to trust in the law or harmony in the community, either.

Those are all good ideas that will not interfere with the wall, combined with electronic monitoring, quick reaction patrols, and same-day deportations
Hopefully if we actually did stop most of them from coming, we wouldn't need as much boarder security.

Had more riots during his terms than the previous 4 decades combined, retard. :itsok:

Look it up, guy. 1968 to 2008-2016

Over 10 milion on Bin Bidens watch. Asylum claim needs to go away. Its BS

They are working here with fake ids and SSNs. They have been doing it since Reagan.

IRS Admits It Encourages Illegals To Steal Social Security Numbers For Taxes
Removing the concept of asylum could be done but it would be difficult. The US Constitution does not mention asylum, but the right to seek asylum is a recognized human right protected by US law. The right is enshrined in other documents also. The fact that the US has lead the charge to establish asylum as a human right plus pressuring other countries to guarantee it in law would make very difficult to remove.

I believe removing it would be kneejerk that we would regret. Asylum was granted to Cuban freedom fighters when Castro came to power and it was used save the lives of thousands of Afghans who worked with and for the US in the fight against Taliban. It is recognized a basic human right and we should not deny it because we can't control our borders. Modification of the law and policies on temporary basis seem much more appropriate.

It is MASSIVE ABUSE

I know we are being overrun with aliens who take more than they give in return

We should still accept skilled immigrants along with their wife and children but no extended family

And we need a moratorium on asylum seekers
Moratoriums on asylum don't work Trump tried it and failed.

What is causing a major problem is not the number of asylum seekers accepted into the US but rather the huge number that are applying.

It's very difficult to make it through the asylum granting process unless you have plenty of money to hire and immigration law. If an adult without dependents show up at the US border asking for asylum, his or her chances of making through the preliminary testing is about half that of a family. 75% of those that pass the preliminary testing are families.

After passing the preliminary test by border security, the applicant will be detained from two to 6 weeks waiting to present their case to an immigration agent. The agent will listen to the applicant's case and ask question to see if the applicant meets the asylum requirement and is telling the truth. The agent will analysis the case and questions and answers and make a decision. At this point 60% of the applicants will have been eliminated. The applicant is scheduled for an immigration hearing where a decision will be made as to whether the applicant will be allowed to enter the asylum/ refugee program. This currently takes about a year. Herring are conducted in English and the court does not provide an immigration lawyer nor an interpreter. After the immigration judge makes a decesion, only 18% of those who applied for asylum remain. They go into the program which gives them some basic training in English, information on getting a job and places to live. This use to be an extensive program introducing the person to American. I think it has been cut back a lot.

Its simple

Give the alien a number and let them remain in Mexico till their hearing

Since that wont happen for years they will stop coming

It often takes as long as five years and sometime much longer for family members to unite. As result, the number 2 reason why people cross the border illegally is to be with their family. I think we should streamline the process for two reasons. It will reduce illegal immigration and unite families which is a benefits for the both family and the community.

There is one common myth about family immigration: it is believed that it is enough for one person to immigrate to the United States and obtain legal status, and the rest of the family can easily join him. President Trump has given this phenomenon the name “chain of immigration.” In one of his speeches (January 30, 2018), Trump called for an end to “chain immigration” he stated: “One immigrant can bring an almost unlimited number of distant relatives. This is simply not true.

US citizens or legal permanent residents cannot directly obtain visas for distant relatives based on kinship. They cannot now apply for a visa for a cousin, uncle, grandfather, or other distant relatives. Legal restrictions on family preference categories, as well as significant delays in the system, are no small obstacles for those seeking to reunite with their relatives. It is also no secret that an extensive filtering process is in place to ensure that immigrants do not become an economic burden on American society or pose a criminal or national security risk. , it is interesting to note that, according to statistics, immigrants commit fewer offenses than natives and do not receive a substantial share of government benefits.

Considering all these reasons, it becomes apparent that it is difficult for people with legal status in America to bring their family members to the US and doing benefits the family and the community, and does not pose a risk for society.

Trump tried that but wide spread human rights violations and logistic problems such as contacting the people and after bringing them across the boarder Mexico objected to sending them back. For these reasons the program was stop. It was started up again by the Biden administration but the Supreme Court stopped it.
