After being with the same woman for 50+ years, I couldn't be happier.

OTH, it is easier to be unhappy as a single than as a couple.

Marriage is a cultural institution that has existed for literally thousands of years. It is intended to create an appropriate venue for having and nurturing children.

In recent years, the Left has virtually obliterated the definition of marriage and fatally compromised its true purpose. The only good thing is that real Americans ignore the bullshit and accept the institution for what it is.

There is no reason on God's green earth why a narcissist like the OP should be impelled to participate in this institution. It does not need him.

It it's a good match, you can't imagine being without them.
