The massive government oversights are due to a previously optional financial tracking field linking US Treasury payments to specific budget line items.
For reference, under Elon Musk’s leadership, DOGE aggressively pursues the elimination of government waste and promotes transparency in federal spending, a key priority of President Donald Trump’s administration. The executive order signed on President Trump’s first day in office is a temporary White House initiative with an 18-month mission; the department has already uncovered massive government fraud and waste while also receiving significant pushback from loony leftists.
The DOGE team specifically credited the US Treasury for its assistance in identifying and correcting this oversight. In a detailed post on X, the official DOGE explained, “The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process). In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to the US Treasury for the great work.”

Despite these legal battles, DOGE scored a significant victory recently when a federal judge in Washington rejected a motion to temporarily restrict its access to critical data from the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, causing a public response. An X user made a hilarious dig at Democrats and expressed their love for Musk’s wins, saying, “I guess the Democrat’s new playbook is to scream about how no one elected Elon Musk. Well, you wretched witches, we actually did vote for the creation of DOGE led by Elon Musk, and we are loving the results so far.”

So, we’re not $36 trillion in “debt”; we’ve simply been robbed by Neo-Marxist Democrats for the last four years.
The debt of America has nothing whatsoever to show for it. Maybe we are not that much in debt, and the vigorish payments are going to Democrat criminals. It falls under RICO.
Nothing is untraceable. All it needs is access to the electronic records. Give DOGE whiz kids time. Once the proper traceback codes are in place, use AI to compare the uncoded transactions to the new coded ones and find the matches that fall within a 5% tolerance range.
There is a digital transaction trail. The Neo-Marxist Democrat fraudsters rely on the fact that the government system is so huge and convoluted that they figured no one would ever be able to process the data and unravel the details.
This has worked for decades and the massive archives of government data has until now worked in their favor because it's too much to deal with. Now AI and high speed computing combined with long ignored government auditing authorities can track this stuff down very effectively.
