What I see is that the Biden administration and the Neo-Marxist Democrat cabal has stolen from the treasury $4.7 Trillion dollars. Why else would they have refused entrance of auditors and out up such a stink about the audit?
There is a trail and forensic evidence to where the money has gone. It's impossible to take that much and leave no trace. A lot of people had to be involved.

In accountancy, it's being able to trace the transaction back to it's original document. Traceability is the important part in auditing. The amount can be shown on a document, bank statement, journal book etc.. but can you audit it?
I remember my auditing days back in the late 80's, you even had to account for cancelled purchase orders, making sure all carbon copies were there. If a mileage was claimed, you drove the route to confirm. You followed the bank account transaction all the way back through to the request, whatever book or document was there in the system, it was all audited and checked. When dealing with millions and billions of tax payers money, I would have expected a robust system.
And each step in the accountancy procedure needs separate staff, you can't have the same person(s) signing off more than one part of that process.
