"You can't be a democrat and go to heaven"

Your bullshit link does not even speak of what originally got the ACLU involved or why they continue to be involved. I went to the ACLU website to get their side of the story and it seems that porn was not mentioned at all, they found that many school systems had blocked LGBT political content from their networks but not even that would have been enough to get their attention, it seems that schools were blocking the sites that were pro LGBT in most cases and and anti LGBT on others. In other words they were only allowing one side of a political issue to be accessible to students. Here's your link but I suppose even talking about gays is porn to you.

ACLU "Don't Filter Me" Initiative Finds Schools In Four More States Unconstitutionally Censoring LGBT Websites | American Civil Liberties Union

it's not a bullshit link and your link just confirmed it's true....of course the ACLU isn't going to put anything negative about it on its website....

homosexual activity is frowned upon by most Christian churches in America...that doesn't just magically change because some political groups deem it acceptable....so teaching Christian children about it as an acceptable lifestyle in the public schools is stepping on religious rights.....

No it is not. Not celebrating holidays and birthdays and being against blood transfusions are what Jehovah's Witnesses do. So all public school children need to be taught these things are wrong? NO!

You don't like the public school curriculum? Send your kids to private school or homeschool them. Means smaller class sizes for non-fundie kids.

Yes it is stepping on rights. Not celebrating Christmas (a national holiday btw) is what the Secularists do.....so all public school children should be taught Christmas is wrong....? NO!

Even if a democrat does not actively practice evil themselves, they approve of the evil practiced by others. Which was the whole point of the Story of Lot. If there is a heaven, democrats certainly won't go there no matter how good a life they lead themselves.

If that were true, Republicans would be in the same lot.

We should all thank God that being in one party or the other is neither a qualification for nor an exclusion from our entrance through the "Pearly Gates".

Immie

Some Republicans are in the same boat but we normally call them RINO'S

I love Christmas. I celebrate a traditional Christmas. I love all the traditional Christmas songs. I just don't believe all the religious bullshit behind it. "A Christmas Story" is my kind of Christmas.

bigrebnc, who says he is not christian elsewhere on the board, is then a RINO by his definition.

Have you had a witness, little buddy?

You just questioned what's wrong with a person's religion being entwined with their politics and now you're questioning the certainty that said people wouldn't entwine their religion with their politics. You need to pick a side here lol.

Theocracies, by and large, come to existence based on a strong bond between politics and religion....so yeah, a religious person who values their religion so much that they can't help but couple it with their political view is extremely likely to start a theocracy. It may be an assumption in this thread, but how many times can you honestly say it hasn't been done?

so if they are such a terrible threat.....why aren't we banning Muslims here in the U.S......everybody knows that Sharia is anti-Constitutional in many ways.....

Because banning Islam would be un-Constitutional in every way.

i'm for banning Sharia Law....would you consider that banning Islam....?
Why aren't we banning orthodox Jews for the same reason? Westborough Baptist Church types? Or any extremist religious doctrine? It's called freedom of religion, it's in the constitution, look it up.

well there ya go.........so WHY the fuck do liberals get all in a lather about Christians.....?

They don’t, they oppose all Establishment Clause violations, regardless the faith.

then why do liberals support Muslim foot baths in public places...?or Muslim prayer times in public schools....?
.

Public schools do not teach that Christmas is wrong - but keep your carols to your churches and homes. You don't have the right to impose church music on public schools.

MLK's birthday is a national holiday but kids aren't taught to sing "We Shall Overcome" all friggin' day.

You don't have the right to impose your Christian theocracy in the rest of us, see how that works, I don't get to tell you how to live and vice-versa. You would make it a one way street where your values are put first in everything and mine always take a back seat.

Christians would do themselves a big favor by withdrawing, make no friends of secularists, do not help them, find your employees from within your own circle, do not house them, do not share your food. Exactly as the Bible says.

Ephesians 5:11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
1 Timothy 5:22 Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
Hebrews 5:13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
Jude 1:23 snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

And Christmas is a Christian celebration. Public schools are not Christian. You do not have the right to impose Christian practices on non-Christian schoolkids. That is settled law.

So is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

A Kentucky teacher is being criticized for writing a politically charged statement on the whiteboard in class.

South Laurel County High School teacher Kendra Baker is drawing complaints from parents and students after she wrote, "You can't be a democrat and go to heaven."

And here I thought the pro abortion, pro sodomy Demoncrat Party Platform was a dead giveaway.

Oh boy a new religious fanatic, the other one is getting kind of stale.

"The Bible does not begin with one man and several women, one woman and multiple men, two men, two women, Barney Frank and a baboon, or any combination thereof. It does not say a man shall leave his parents and cleave to his civil-union partner."
Don Feder

Yeah, the Bible says a lot of crazy shit.
