We could travel to new worlds in NASA's starship Enterprise | The Verge

Wonder about eventual interstellar travel too. But my thing is more about the impossibility of it. At least in the sense that a living crew could do it in a resonable amount of time.

Also, the equally daunting task of needing 'deflector shields' to protect the ship against hyper-velocity impacts. At space travel speeds, even a speck of dust could end your journey suddenly. So some way of blocking, or deflecting such impactors will be needed for any 'really fast' method.

But for the 'realy fast' methods, the ultimate problem is of course light is the limit. And travelling close enough to it to benefit significantly from relativistic time dilation is probably impossible. Warp drive ideas avoid this issue, and the impactor one but seem even more unlikely. I worry then that EVER travelling among the stars is simply impossible.
