Seriously? Greece comes to mind? How is that? Nearly 50% of GDP comes from government spending in Greece. I don't know of any Democrat that supports that type of Government. In fact, most Democrats actually do support some spending cuts along with some increases in tax revenue.

Now what we should really be asking is what will this country look like at the end of the year if we do not raise the debt ceiling. That scares me a hell of a lot more than if the Dems might win the White House again.

Why would he win? By your own accounts, he's been the worst President ever. The country has never been in this bad of shape. So who would vote for him? Obviously, the Republicans and Tea Partiers have a lock on the next election, especially with the support of the Koch Brothers. You'll be fine, I'm sure of it.

If the Ear Man wins again, he can't elected again after that, and he'll stop the phony "civility" and "compromise" poses. He'll then have nothing to lose - and will pull out all the stops. Although it may seem that nothing could be worse than this term, with the health care rationing bill, the failed trillion dollar porkulus, the apology tours, and the six trillion dollars in new debt, this will seem like nothing compared to the leftwing nightmare to come. I think he'll pretty much skip congress and focus on getting as many leftwing extremists into the federal judiciary as possible, suck even more powers into the executive branch, and staff up federal agencies with statists. He's pretty much reached the limit on wrecking the country economically, and will focus on raw state power to control people's lives.
