The following sounds like just another day in the peaceful Arab/Muslim World. I don't understand why the UN is singling out Assad's gov't & military. Meanwhile some 4.5 MILLION Syrians have become refugees since the start of their civil war:

As nations mount an offensive against the Islamic State militants that have gained a stronghold in Iraq and Syria, a U.N. human rights commission emphasized Tuesday that the Syrian President Bashar Assad's government has committed the bulk of atrocities in the civil war.
The head of the commission, Brazilian diplomat and scholar Paulo Sergio Pinheiro, told the U.N.'s top human rights body that the government's killing of civilians — often through the use of ubiquitous checkpoints — exceeds the crimes against civilians perpetrated by the militants and other anti-government armed groups.
The Islamic State extremists and anti-government armed groups are not "the sole agents of death and destruction inside Syria," Pinheiro told the 47-nation Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The Council authorized the commission to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law since March 2011 in Syria and to identify whenever possible those responsible, so that they can be prosecuted.
"The Syrian government remains responsible for the majority of the civilian casualties, killing and maiming scores of civilians daily — both from a distance using shelling and aerial bombardment and up close, at its checkpoints and in its interrogation rooms," Pinheiro said. "Checkpoints are often the starting point of a horrific journey of disappearance, torture, sexual abuse and, for many, death. Checkpoints are used to enforce sieges and to trap civilians in areas under indiscriminate bombardment."
Syria envoy Houssam El dine Alaa denounced the commission's work as "politicized and unprofessional," based on "unbelievable testimonies."

Some US puppets spreading their mendacious shit.

That UN "Human Rights" agency is hardly a US puppet but it does appear they are singling out Assad in a lame attempt to justify the other 95% of their "business" ... singling out Israel.

Obviously, its an attempt to blame the Syrian government. I don´t blame that agency as a whole, but this is bullshit.

How to prove or believe it? It is "Freeman style bullshit" without any credibility:

They still try to present the terrorists as "democratic rebels fighting an evil regime".

I agree and it is EXACTLY how they try to define the Hamas/Israeli conflict. In fact, defining Israel as an "evil regime" is 95% of that UN agency's job. See how that works?

Assad isn't funding ISIS.
Assad isn't trying to take my guns.
Assad isn't installing cameras and listening devices all over the US.
Assad didn't send my job overseas.
Assad isn't devaluing the US Dollar.
Assad isn't trying to raise my Taxes.
Assad didn't sign ObamaCare.

I'm not a fan of Assad, but he's not doing anything to Curtail MY Liberties here at home.
