The Keystone Pipeline is a litmus test for environmental idiocy. Those who oppose it are oblivious fools.
(a) The oil will come to market, one way or another.
(b) The danger of a spill is minimal, and dramatically less than if the oil were transported via trucks or rail.
(c) The pipeline itself will create thousands of jobs initially and a good number of permanent jobs.
(d) These pipeline sections are just part of a network of pipelines that go across basically the same geographical area; it is the equivalent of adding a new east-to-west interstate in the U.S. We already have some, and we build another one. Big deal.
It's all part of the America First campaign. It's what I voted for.
