REPORTER:
The neo-Nazis started this thing. They showed up in Charlottesville.

TRUMP: Excuse me, they didn't put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.

And? You must be thinking that the only people there on one side was the neo-nazis? Think again, Skippy.

I'm sure there weren't just neo-nazis.....but, of course....those people saw the flags being flown. They heard the chants. And (this is important now).....they stayed around. Would you?

Well let's see who put it on:

Jason Kessler was the local person who got together with the daily stormer, The right stuff, the national policy institute, the nationalist front, the traditionalist workers party, identity evropa, vanguard America, the national socialist movement, and a couple of KKK groups to put on the rally.

It was their leaders who were set up as headliners. Their leaders who talked about working with the police in the podcasts to set it up, their websites who promoted it. this was well covered ahead of the rally of who was putting this together.

Some people and groups decided that this was something that they wanted to associate themselves with and join and others did not

The white nationalists or whatever had all the permits necessary, there for sure were fine people among them. Possibly most of them even.

As for antifa who attacked a peaceful protest, I don't see why this is even legal or fine for that matter.
See this is the exact filth that is oozing out in this country and Trumps actions encourage people who think like Norm here. This is the problem with how Trump handled the situation.
What he’s trying to-tell you asshole is that the people you hate are American citizens who followed the law and got the proper permitting to march, the side you love, the disrupters, the violent ones did not!

An ANTIFA type of event...okay.
Well, to be honest...if I was packing that day, I'd probably hang around.
Did you stay, or did you go?
So...you WOULD hang around with people flying NAZI and con-federate flags......OK. Thanks for your answer.

How odd that there is NOTHING on that flyer about con-federate statues. Isn't that the oddest thing?

1. The fake news MSM continually characterizes Trump's comment as "fine people" referring to both the "white supremacists and Neo-nazis" as well as the protesters.
2. Trump said "see the entire tape" and you will see that he actually said that the "fine people" was referring to was both debate sides over the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue. I saw the entire tape and Trump did say that he condemns Neo-nazis and white supremacists. He further clarified that Robert E. Lee was one of the greatest generals the US ever produced, and that his strategies are still studied and useful today.

3. Trump Didn't Call Neo-Nazis 'Fine People.' Here's Proof. | RealClearPolitics

This is one of the bigger 'fake news' creations about Trump.
Biden bit, didn't he?
Biden's judgement is too poor to be Presidential material which voters already knew in previous rejections.

How odd that there is NOTHING on that flyer about con-federate statues. Isn't that the oddest thing?

It's almost as odd as how most confederate rallies have speakers who are historians talking about the Confederacy, and this one had Klan leaders and Nazis instead as their speakers.

There were a lot of people there who weren't part of those groups hanging around. You need to ask if I'm a nazi or flying a confederate flag.

You explain yourself, Bode. You're not smart enough to connect the dots, like I said earlier, because they aren't there.
Then you infer something that was never said or intended to be said. Run along darling.

I'm opposed to taking down Confederate Statues. Does that make me a Neo-Nazi or a white supremacist?
Do you believe cities and counties have the right to make their own decisions about whether to take down Con-federate statues or not?

Of course they do. And they should expect protests from those of us fine people who oppose the erasure and re-writing of history.

Do you believe the mass news media should deliberately mischaracterize and outright lie about what the President says in a news conference to further their own leftist agenda? Because that's exactly what's happened here.

I definitely oppose the "lost cause" lies trying to rewrite the history of the civil war. I oppose the attempts to honor those horrible leaders who waged a rebellion against the us to perpetuate and expand race based slavery.

Which is why rather than trying to rewrite them as heroes I'd much rather see them in their original light by their own acts and words.

But for some, they want to rewrite that with those monuments.

I can't argue with what you personally think, SandSquid. But you may be right...or you may be wrong with that assumption.
You and I don't know. But, rest assured the Trump wasn't calling those good people.

In Charlottesville, there was a traffic accident that was obviously precipitated by a thug hitting a motorist's vehicle as it was traveling down a steep slope towards an intersection that by happenstance got flooded by a mob that stopped traffic just as a thug hit the young inexperienced motorist's car.

Trump publicly called the young inexperienced motorist involved in the traffic accident a "murderer".

Kinda hard to get a fair trial when the MSM and even the president jump to conclusions and call you a murderer before your trial.

It's what they do, they have to twist the truth into a lie to fit their narrative.

And if Obama had said there are fine people in the NBPP or that there were fine people protesting in Ferguson you'd be saying the same thing. Ha! You guys are pathetic.

Hmmm. He said the Nazis and Klan weren't. But said both sides specifically. Which leaves those who attend their Rally's. And had plenty of time to clarify that it's not good to go to a Nazi rally and join their causes even if you aren't one. And didn't
