The hottest July on record

In Texas....

SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Monday, San Angelo reached 104 making this the 18th consecutive day they have seen temperatures above 100.

This ties the record of most consecutive days above 100 last set back in 1969. With Tuesday's forecast expected to be over 100 San Angelo will likely surpass the record.

The average number of 100 degree days in August is 6 days, but San Angelo has already seen 15 days of triple digit heat and will likely add to that this week. There is no relief expected from the heat over the next 7 days unfortunately.

Low temperatures have been abnormally high as well setting more records. Monday, San Angelo had a record warm low of 83 degrees.

Another hot day, and another record broken.

huh.. once again, a record temperature means weather is climate change again.

In Olympia....

Scorching temperatures broke records in the Puget Sound area this weekend and the heat wave isn't over.

The National Weather Service upgraded its heat advisory to a warning early Sunday, urging people to be cautious because dangerously high temperatures pose risks of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

The warning remains in effect until 10 tonight.

“We are breaking more records,” said meteorologist Danny Mercer.

On Sunday at 4:54 p.m., the mercury rose to a high of 97 degrees at the Olympia Airport, breaking the Aug. 15 record of 94 degrees set in 1967, according to the National Weather Service.

Once more for the cheap and obstinately stupid seats.

1. Weather is not climate change.

2. We have not enough data and too much FALSIFIED data to make any conclusion on the direction of global climate.

3. Even if the information WAS accurate... there is no proof mankind has a thing to do with it.

4. And of course, regardless of what any tests would say about climate and fault...

... there is nothing we can do to stop it, only adapt.

My only question is...are they really cheap seats? Seems like we're already paying a lot for AGW studies, with much more to come.
