No month in Washington's official weather history was ever hotter than the month just past.

Many Washington residents suspected that. But on Monday, the National Weather Service confirmed it.

The average temperature of July 2010 was 83.1 degrees. In all the years since 1871 in which the weather service has kept records for Washington, no month has ever had an average temperature higher than that.

Coolest July on record in southern Fornicalia.

The again, jerkwagons like you blabber on and on about how climate and weather are completely dissociated, when the weather goes against your doom-n-gloom bullsqueezins.

In Australia...

LIGHTNING over Darwin in July is unheard of, but storm chaser Jacci Ingham managed to snap this dramatic display from her balcony at Fisherman's Wharf on Saturday night.

Unseasonable rain isn't the only thing that appears to have ruined this year's dry.

Yesterday, the weather bureau officially confirmed last month was the hottest July on record.

Wow it took another 17 YEARS to break that old record. So if we're pumping so much CO2 into the atmosphere why is it taking so long to break those records......that were set before we were pumping all that CO2 into the atmosphere?

That's why I don't talk much about temperatures, my mantra being "IT'S THE GASES, STUPID". It's simple logic. If CO2 and the other GHGs absorb infra-red radiation, more gas will trap more radiation. Some of the most potent gases are not found in nature. Where would they be coming from, if not man?

yet the amount that man puts in is minimal compared to what nature puts in

A 40% increase in CO2, a 150% increase in CH4, and some industrial gasses that are thousands of times as effective a CO2 in minimal? In what alternative reality are you living in?

Perhaps you would care to explain the the American Institute of Physics why they are wrong when they flat out state that the effects of the GHGs are anything but minimal.
