Yo...............Skooter the Ass Gerbil............got any RELIABLE links, other than the one you currently have that is not working as well as looks suspiciously like a RW blog site?

Fail..............yet again.................

Chevy volt is a hybrid, and that market saw a 171% increase over June of last year.

June 2012 Dashboard | Hybrid Cars

Like I always say Ray.......the question no hard core liberal ever wants to answer is, "As compared to what?".

The left likes to throw out impressive statistics, but when compared to the rest of the car market:D:D

The Volt will see a sale of about 17,000 unit this year.

Total vehicles sold in the US in 2011?

12.8 million

2011 Auto Sales - Automobile Magazine

LMAO.............and hybrid sales peaked in 2009 and have been on a steady decline since!!! Oh......and less than 3% of the market, and now its even less.

Dont let the far left try to fool you with phoney math!!!

You're a partisan, right wing, neo conservative, homophobic, callous conservative, bigoted ignoramus. All of which make your opinions kooky. But thanks so much for sharing your opinion based on your partisan, right wing, neo conservative, homophobic, callous conservative and bigoted opinions.

All hybrids

units 34,558

versus last month -7.1%

versus June 2011 171.8%

cytd 217,701

versus cytd 2011 63.5%

All vehicles

units 1,281,417

versus last month -3,7%

versus June 2011 22.2%

cytd 7,248,893

versus cytd 2011 14.9%

So there you have it. Total increase in vehicle sales 14.9% in the last year. Total increase in hybrids for the same period, 63.5%. That is a pretty strong trend.

Hmmm.........I guess the CNN article I posted above was BS!!!!:coffee: The Automobile Magazine artilce? Clearly contrived.:D

%'s dont mean dick unless they are compared to something significant............not themselves. I suppose one day I can try taking a Viagra and maybe my dick gets 17% stiffer..............dont matter for shit if she doesnt notice.

Scientists ALWAYS find the statistics that meet with their presconceptions. All they have to do is look hard enough............as Sowell astutely points out

Really? You trust CNN? The same network that said the SC struck down Obamacare for 7 minutes and WAS WRONG ALL 7 MINUTES?

CNN sucks ass as a news source nowdays.

The first gas combustion cars were crappy also. They also tried electric cars in the beginning, along with gasification.

^ When all else fails, there is no rebuttal in sight, and defeat is imminent... Resort to Liberal tactic number one: Insult, demean, and become downright nasty.

As the CNN Money post displays ( post #5)........the hybrid/electric fad is done. A minority of drivers care to buy them again. There will always be a market since there will always be people who feel compelled to show the world they are more environment concious than the next guy, but lets face it...........less than 3% is kinda a joke.

Meanwhile, the way the environmental radicals post up figures in here, you'd think the combustion engine is about to go belly up. All this green energy shit is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overhyped and will continue to be a fringe energy market, kept alive by the money chasers and the government.
