This is really disgusting.

We don't have a President. We have a Community Organizer in Chief who continue to sew class and race warfare.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vgMnZIafeE]Obama: Republicans Are 'Counting On Black Folks Staying Home'[/ame]

Wasn't his Mother White? This is just more Saul Alinsky 'Rules for Radicals' Divide & Conquer stuff. The guy should be ashamed of himself. Race-Baiting is getting to be pretty old & tired though. I think most common sense thinking Americans are tired of it. Hopefully they'll express this on Election Day. Time to show the Democrats the door.

Well they are. It's not like he was saying something inaccurate.

RNC Chair Michael Steele Confesses to Race-Based Southern Strategy | Mediaite

From the mouth of RNC Chair, Michael Steele:

Why should an African-American vote Republican?

“You really don’t have a reason to, to be honest — we haven’t done a very good job of really giving you one. True? True,”

“…We have lost sight of the historic, integral link between the party and African-Americans,” Steele said. “This party was co-founded by blacks, among them Frederick Douglass. The Republican Party had a hand in forming the NAACP, and yet we have mistreated that relationship. People don’t walk away from parties, Their parties walk away from them.

Black folks?

That's all Obama is good for...........CAMPAIGNING! He hasn't stopped campaigning since he decided to run for President

He's also not much of a man. He blames everything on Bush or somebody else. He won't take responsibility for his actions. Pathetic.

"GOD DAMN AMERICA!!" Yea people are pretty sick of that stupid shit. The Dems gotta go. The country is beaten & demoralized at this point. Reminds me of the horrifying Jimmy Carter malaise of the 70's. It's time for real change. Lets hope this happens in November.

I'm assuming you guys don't know anything about election politics.

He's completely right. The Republicans are counting on Black people not voting..

I think "Republicans" are counting on lots of Democrats to be dispirited and shaken by Obama and their politicos in Washington under the banner of the D party; I have no clue why anyone would transfer any inclination, to not vote to black-folks to any greater extent. And most Democrats who are already in office and in majority black districts are most likely in safe seats, and whether or not the black vote is depressed won't matter a whit.

He was race baiting, because that is all he has.
He's a thug.

I call Shenanigans.

Steele said that the RNC has not done a good job making a case for blacks to vote for the GOP - not that they were COUNTING ON BLACKS STAYING HOME.

One logically follows the other. If the RNC has not made a good job making a case for African Americans to vote for the GOP, why would they want African Americans to go out and vote in unprecedented numbers?

So...if a Republican talks about black people it is okay but if a Democrat does it is playing the race card?

And you wonder why Republicans are looked upon as racists.

Your ASSumption doesn't make it a fact.

We can file this under "Doggie the Bubble Boy tries to pass along "fake but accurate' evidence".

It's not an assumption. It's a logical conclusion that you clearly have failed to refute on any level. It shouldn't come as any surprise that the GOP doesn't want African Americans to go out and vote. Just like Democrats don't want old white males to go out and vote.

If the RNC doesn't make a good job of convincing African Americans to vote for their party as Steele has stated, it's not in the party's best interests to convince them to vote, is it?

No it's not. Saying that one party hasn't done a good job reaching out to certain demographics can also be construed to mean that that party should improve in that area.

You are just revealing your own racialist bias.

He's a thug.

Demographically, a vast majority of Black folks both a.) tend to vote Democrat, and b.) have low turnout. This is standard election strategy - in places like CT or NY, if the inner-city vote turns out, the Democrat will win, if not, the Republican will.

But if you need something to be "outraged" about, go for it.

Racialist bias? Now who's playing the race card?
