What weapons will teachers have at school?

What is the process for training these teachers?

Will there be a gun safe in schools?

Will there be a 24 hour, 365 day security guard to guard the guns in schools?

Who will certify armed teacher gun competence?

Will a teacher be expected to shoot a student?

What will be the costs of liability to put guns in schools?

Will parents be told which teachers and which classrooms are equipped with guns?

What becomes of schools where no school staff agrees to ne armed?

Will the guns be equipped with sensors allowing only those with fobs or rings to fire them?

Who pays for the guns?

And finally, if a concealable weapon is mandated, will such weapons be effective against more powerful AR? And if they are deemed adequate against an AR, what then is the virtue of an AR in home defense? After all, if a pistol is good enough to defend school children, why is it not deemed adequate to protect a home?

Luckily we have the NRA that are the gun Specialists and trainers to much of Americas Military and police as well as USA citizens and many others in the world . Anyway , all your questions will be answered by their policies and i am sure that YOU will like that NKing .

Isn't arming teachers something responsible people would like more information about? Is this move so trivial that the American people should just cede thenprocess to a lobbying group without question?

And why would you consider the questions posed in the OP silly? Are you not reasonable and responsible enough to engage in civil discourse?

What have been the consequences when citizens abrogate their responsibilities to bureaucrats, or worse, political lobbying groups?

What weapons will teachers have at school?

Handguns.

What is the process for training these teachers?

Same as any other citizen obtaining a concealed carry permit

Will there be a gun safe in schools?

No. The weapon will be carried concealed by the teacher.

Will there be a 24 hour, 365 day security guard to guard the guns in schools?

The guns will not be locked up.

Who will certify armed teacher gun competence?

The state that issues the concealed carry permit.

Will a teacher be expected to shoot a student?

If the student is armed and the teacher feels that the student is a threat to his or her life, or to the lives of other students, then yes.

What will be the costs of liability to put guns in schools?

I have a concealed carry permit. I can purchase liability insurance if I want, but it's not required.

Will parents be told which teachers and which classrooms are equipped with guns?

Concealed means concealed. Nobody should know when a valid permit holder is carrying.

What becomes of schools where no school staff agrees to ne armed?

Then people die.

Will the guns be equipped with sensors allowing only those with fobs or rings to fire them?

Absolutely not. The time between the recognition of a threat and the trigger pulling, can be fractions of a second. You don't waste time with gadgets when fractions of a second mean the difference between life or death.

Who pays for the guns?

The armed individual.

And finally, if a concealable weapon is mandated, will such weapons be effective against more powerful AR? And if they are deemed adequate against an AR, what then is the virtue of an AR in home defense? After all, if a pistol is good enough to defend school children, why is it not deemed adequate to protect a home?

Better than throwing canned food or chalkboard erasers, isn't it?

What is the process for training these teachers? Gun training, of course.

------------------------------------------------------- Too many silly questions concerning a common sense issue in my opinion . For example , will there be a gun safe i say , yeah maybe or maybe a gun room is better . ----------- will there be a guard guarding the guns ?? Maybe a school staffer of school janitor would suffice same as a gun owner guards his guns in his home when he is home but locks up his guns in a safe or a gun room when he isn't home eh . --------------------- besides that , like i said , NRA is the Expert Adviser on Guns . NRA trains and advises USA Military and police and armed Americans so its lucky that we have them . And here , info on an actual OHIO teacher that carries a gun at school . --- What it's like for one teacher who already carries a gun --- link originally posted by Depotoo and its some good information concerning common sense carrying of a gun in a school enviroment NKing .

If I'm not mistaken, there are already 18 states which allow an adult to carry a loaded firearm on school grounds, provided that they have written permission from a principal or the school board. We've been heading that was for years.

Who is going to pay the lawsuit award for wrongful death when the teacher hits the wrong student by accident, or even kills someone erroneously who he thought was doing the shooting?

And, who is going to pay for the lawsuit award against the school if the teacher turns out to be the psycho killer? And, in connection with that, who is going to pay the school's lawsuit award when some 17 year old muscle bound kid takes the gun away from the teacher and then uses the teacher's gun to go on a killing spree?

----------------------------------------- aw haw , good answers to stupid questions about a common sense problem , i like them . All the question of Nosmo are simply designed to slow or stop a common sense idea that MAY help save lives of widdle kids in Gun Free School Zones because Nosmo and those like him want to continue to have Gun Free School Zones Billy .

-------------------------------------------------- seems to me that muscle bound violent kids with no respect for teachers and rules are going to have to be KICKED OUT OF SCHOOL V.S..
