Faith and its importance was mentioned by individuals. It is not supported by a majority of democrats because when Villaraigosa took the voice vote, the nays clearly were the majority. He might have ignored that and "in his opinion" the measure restoring the language passed but it's absolutely not true. Faith is splitting the democrats, leaving it a fractured and broken party.
