Christy continues his suicide by mouth

Maybe. He seems to be a man of principle. That's plenty reason enough for hatred from Dems and Pubs.
Which principle?....Grab the loot from the nearest low-hanging branch?

Dems love that principle....That'd make him a perfect ship-jumper opportunist for the DNC in '16.

Before Sandy every republican was creaming themselves over this guy. And theeeeeen he put partisanship aside for the good of his constituents. And now he's on par with Hillary. :cuckoo:

No, they weren't. Why do you generalize like that? Do you think republicans move en masse like democrats?

He's not endearing himself to his party.

Surely he's not gonna switch parties ...

He'll jump the fence before the democratic primaries.

That is if he can get over it.

How bad of a beat down are Republicans going to have to take in 2016 for you idiots to understand the absolute importance of moderate Republicans? What is funny is that in this context, Christie isn't even really a moderate; he is just willing to work with those on the other side of the aisle.

Shit, getting Democrats to agree on things is like herding cats. Repugs do everything in lockstep by comparison.

Nope, dems lockstepped on all of O's bills so far.

And pugs lockstepped against all of O's bills so far

IF Dems all voted in lockstep, we could have had single payer healthcare instead of all this BS just to try to get a couple Repugs to buy in (which they didn't anyway, because they all vote en bloc).

See who Christie appoints to replace Lautenberg. That will give a clue as to how much of a republican Christie is.

Lincoln appointed rivals into his cabinet in order to gain a better perspective on what he should do, a strategy also mimicked by Kennedy. The obvious choice would be Newark Mayor Cory Booker, but since politics is a different game today and he will need to appoint a Republican.
