I'm going with Warren Buffoon.
He lies like Warren Buffett.
There's a difference?
We know that Chick can pay $17.00/hr. I haven't seen any evidence that any other CAN'T pay $17.00/hr.
I don't disagree that an owner incurs risk, but if done right is much more detrimental to the employee, typically because the employee went to work for an idiot. But the matter remains, Chick can afford $17.00/hr.
My recruiting and payroll is third party.
Now factor in the 12 hours per day/six days per week and church on Sunday. How exactly is that a good deal?
They're compensated VERY well with the best pay in the industry, a no cost PPO (employee and family) with zero deductibles and co-pays, and a European based vacation plan (4 weeks per year).
I'm MUCH prettier than Mr. Buffett.
Why can't you get over the fact that you were wrong about restaurant workers pay? The industry CAN afford $17.00/hr.
Why do you hate the American worker?
Well, not everyone is cut out to be you. Some people have to work for a living. Also, including going to church on Sunday is really lame. I'm sure the days and hours that operators work varies quite a bit.
Every successful business person is exactly like me, but I don't think screwing my employees is a correct thing to do. Conservatives on the other hand think it's just fine.
Religion, no matter what religion, is for the ignorant and fools. As an agnostic I answer to a higher level.
Operators for chick open the door when the restaurant opens and lock the door when the restaurant closes, 6 days a week. If you have any evidence that that is incorrect, please post.
