Best beer

Sherry, offering root beer to guests could get you shot in the face in some countries...

Diet root beer at that.

Diet is just die with a "t" on the end...

Never do anything with the word "die" in it

I hate beer, but that is likely because I've only ever had American beer.

What beer do you usually drink, if you do? Is American really crap compared to, say, German?

My FAV was Killians Red

Then I had some in England. What's served here is piss water by comparison.

So I mostly have a Guinness or a black and tan. but I will never ever have it outside the border, just incase it's vastly better.

I'll sometimes have a Corona with lime

Nothing wrong with sandwiches either, but I don't eat shit sandwiches.

If you try to be a beer snob you become a shit sandwich.

Thanks for trying to pick an idiotic internet fight.
Here, let me help you out...... You win.
Feel better now?

Excuse me, who brought up "shit sandwich"? Quit whining if you're going to be a douche, or quit being a douche if you're going to whine about it.

If by American, you're talking about Bush, Bud, Millers, etc, the answer is yes. There are over 1400 brewers in the US, and probably over 10,000 beers. Some of these are great and some are terrible.

My all time favorite are:
Spaten Optimator - German
Murphy's Irish Stout - Irish
Blue Moon - (USA - Colorado)

Try a VooDoo American Stout.

Seriously.

No. Really. I mean it, seriously...

Veering off into the realm of softdrinks...it has been my experience that almost all peoples around the globe really hate rootbeer except we Americans.

I already told you that you won. No need to insult me at this point.

Well if I ever come across one, I most certainly will

I don't particularly like beer but I enjoyed Kirin and Sapporo Black Label when I was in Japan.

Off Topic Sorta': The Japanese have the best whiskey: Suntory Old. Real smooth. Not like most whiskey that goes down like gasoline.

I'm more of a wine drinker, but when I drink beer it is usually:

-) Stella Artois (if I'm going for a plain lager)
-) Westmalle triple or Westvleteren if I'm going for a heavy beer
-) some sort of Geueze if I'm going for something bitter
-) Rodenbach if I'm going for something sweeter
-) Delirium Tremens or Duvel if I want a strong beer

I have enjoyed Kirin, but that was ages ago.

I drink about 3 beers a year and those are usually Coronas. If I'm traveling and see a new one I may try one, but seldom finish it.
I drank tons of beer up until the age of 17 when I discovered Bourbon.
Now I just make my caneshine and some liqueurs.
