NATO didn’t, Obama and the other globalists in the EU did, when they funded a violent overthrow of the Ukrainian government in 2013-2014.

This broke the country apart as several areas didn’t want to be in the new government. But the globalists don’t care about the will of the people in those areas. They speak Russian so they when they vote it doesn’t count. That’s “democracy” apparently.

No what I'm getting at is that we don't know enough about this to comment much. So knowing what little I do about Russia and Ukraine so far I'm leaning towards Russia. Am I wrong only time will tell.

This too is possible but not enough evidence to lead me there yet. I see too much negative change in my nation and the world even to blame anyone for resisting this evil infecting their culture or people.
I see all the 1st world nation's on earth being forced to take in third world migrants who have no intention whatsoever to assimilate into the people's cultures they ask for help.
Look at France, Sweden and America for example.

No. The fall of the USSR allowed these natiins to be free from the Tryanny of the Soviets. Free Nations join of their own accord and do so out of Fear of Russia, not the other way around.

Putin misses the Power of the old USSR. Ukraine is Strategic for that goal. Especially for the Black Sea and the vast minerals and fertile land.

Russia could have been satisfied with Crimea, but Putin wants all of the Black Sea Ports he can get.

I do not believe that NATO or the US provoked this war, but I do believe decisions were made that emboldened Putin into invading Ukraine now. Was there ever going to be a better time than this, as far as he was concerned? AND - I also think Putin made a secret deal with China to buy Russian oil if and when the West decided to stop.
