Unfortunately I'm seeing more cons than pros here. Rain, bird poop,... The expense. Although depending on where you live it could possibly be a quicker time period.


 
Well, they won't fly in bad weather that's for sure.


So that means that you could only get pizza in nice weather and the pizza places would lose business.
 
They've been trying drone delivery for over 10 years now and it's not really taken off. Mostly seems to be a novelty in a few select areas.
 
Small boutique pizza places will not have drone deliveries for the forseeable future. Their businesses will not be affected as their clientele would not touch a Little Caeser abomination. I wonder of Domino's is going to do this too.?

I see a lot of problems with drone deliverys
Trees
Power lines
Wrong address
Dropped packages
Stolen packages
Crashed drones hitting people, cars, houses

Would it really save much money over human deliveries?

When we visit my son in Jersey City and order out, the delivery is usually made my an R2D2 style droid
