I don't believe ONE word of your personal opinion! Where did you get this information otherwise it's so stupid to publish what YOU think! Provide me proof!
Math is hard for you, sorry

I’m an information system administrator for a school division Human Resources / Payroll system.

My job is to think beyond the bumper sticker.

And really I could care less whether you have thought through the problem or not, which any reasonable person can tell you hadn’t.

From the example given where you played the race card instead of thinking, it is obvious that the change suggested would have turned a good school of 1500 students into an under performing school of 2500 students.

Some people though don’t want to expend the energy to think.

It wasn't discussed during the elections but does any one doubt SS is going to be put on the chopping block?

No way one usmb Republican will say they like and want to keep SS.

And if they want to at least tell us in 2019 so we can vote on it.

I think people would riot over this. It'd never happen.

When you don't support public schools who exist so ANY CHILD can have an education
what you really saying is That you only care about what you & those like you Want.
No chance it's all about indoctrination?

Abolish the education dept.

Pure bullshit

You still don't get it! Revenue means money coming in. TAXES provide money coming in!
Now borrowing money IS NOT revenue! IT IS AN EXPENSE as it has to be paid back in different ways.
So illegals are getting REVENUE from INCOME or money from loans to the government!
FACTS:
Over the past 100 years, the U.S. federal debt has increased from $403 B in 1923 to $33.17 T in 2023.
IT is an expense!
Revenue is tax

OK so tell that to the CBO!
WHAT does the headline say you dummy?
New CBO Forecasts Show Tax Revenues Rising after 2017 TAX CUTS!!! NOT FALLING!!

You still don't get it do you?

View attachment 964803
it's never been about tax revenue. EVER, it's always been about spending and elites deflating the value of the dollar. hmmmm

Oh and just because you are an
You don't get it.
When did the Budget go into a surplus after a tax cut? NEVER
Why not if tax revenue rose? BECAUSE BORROWING ALWAYS EXCEEDS THE NEW TAX REVENUE, DUH.
Hey!! I offered expert proof! The Congressional Budget Office(CBO)!
Now where is your proof?

Really? Even after they were warned and voted for it?

It then proposes implementing sweeping right-wing changes to the federal government, including eliminating the Department of Education, reducing the scope of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security

A vote for Trump is a vote to cut your social security 20%

People often have no idea what they're voting for, that's the problem. Look at Brexit. People told them what would happen, they called it "scaremongering", then it happened. They said they were "deceived.

No such thing would ever happen, period.

They should raise the retirement age to 70, though. And index the eligibility age to 9 percent of the population going forward.
I should have said make cuts to social security.

According to how much. I have no idea how much I paid in, I'm 46 and been working since I was 15.
Well, you and me are going to take probably a 20% cut when we get to retirement age. This is necessary in order to give Elon Musk those tax breaks he desperately needs.

So why is the current congress considering giving people on social security a raise?

Nearly 3 million people could receive a boost in Social Security payments under legislation set for a final Senate vote in the coming days.

The Social Security Fairness Act would end longtime provisions that reduce the federal benefit for people who are also eligible for other pensions. The policies have heavily affected people who worked in state, local and federal government jobs, as well as teachers, firefighters and police officers, according to lawmakers and advocates.

The bill has bipartisan support but has drawn some criticism from some conservatives. The House approved the measure in November by a vote of 327-75 and the bill easily cleared its first hurdle in the Senate on Wednesday. Its backers hope the Senate will vote to send the legislation to President Joe Biden before lawmakers’ lame-duck session gives way to the new Congress in January.

I say **** them old fuckers. If social security is going bankrupt in 8 years, NO RAISES. If the next congress is talking about cuts, no raises for you.

This is an example of old people robbing future generations. Taking away benefits from us they gave to themselves.

The current proposal calls for changes to payments for January 2024 and beyond. If Congress sticks to that timeline, that means the Social Security Administration would owe back-dated payments.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that eliminating the Windfall Elimination Provision would boost monthly payments to the affected beneficiaries by an average of $360 by December 2025.

I wonder how this co President's of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy is working out. Hell, might as well include Dr Oz who wants everyone on a Medicare Advantage plan
