Why would you sign a deal with Iran, and then not release it for five days?

Having a deal in principle with the fine print not worked out is SO UNUSUAL! ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

"Trump may release US-Iran deal before Friday, Vance says"

"Donald Trump may decide to release a preliminary deal to end the war with Iran before Friday, US Vice-President JD Vance says, after the US president said the agreement had already been signed."

Why would you do this? Do the people of the US, and the World, not deserve to know? A presidency that claimed to be the most transparent ever, is the least.
Now we knowโ€ฆ $300,000,000,000.00.

And even without that, sanctions have been lifted and assets unfrozen.

High fives all around Tehran today. It was inevitable when the first bomb dropped.
I knew it, but others are still in denial.

Itโ€™s a very sad day for the USA.

My theory is that the delay is literally due to SEMANTICS.

The general principles have been agreed, and both sides know that the text must be released, but neither side wants the text to be embarrassing to their side, so it must be articulated in a way that makes it appear that both sides "won."

In the meantime, the only people who are speaking about it and KNOW WHAT IS IN IT are Trump, Rubio, and Vance. The partisans both here and abroad are taking giant leaps to describe something that they know nothing about.

And the U.S. Media treats all sources as equally valid.

Already unfrozen, huh?

Link?

The biggest con ever. The whole world sees it.

They've heard enough of his threats & lies.

The problem is the Iranian War has generally been a disaster for Trump. He's desperate to get out of it while saving face before November.

Basically even this deal is a 60 day deal. What happens after that?

Literally nothing. They will pretend to negotiate. Iran will charge tariffs on the shipping and make billions selling oil. Trump will claim victory.

15th post
Lumpy Sean or the Fox & Fiends crew not fill you in yet, CLOWN?
I'm not aware of then making claims in this thread they can't back up.

You have made claims you can't back up, Chimper.

Holy crap.

So the final 14-point document unfreezes Iranian assets, ends sanctions on Iran, and gives them a $300 billion reparations fund from (presumably) their neighbors.

Iran pinky swears not to build nukes. Iran can still close the Strait at any time.

Great job, you goddamn orange idiot. You and your useful idiots can now decare your great victory.
If the Country wasen's an autocratic hellhole under Trump thanks to his Republican stooges he'd be impeached over this fiasco.

Thirteen members of our military lost their lives for NOTHING.

Turns out it's because it represents a humiliating capitulation by the U.S.

Somebody should tell JD Dunce. He's confirmed the payoff.

Lotsa fun watching the administration try to spin this humiliating defeat.
If your evidence of a humiliating defeat is having to ignore the difference between a private investment fund and a taxpayer-funded payout, your argument may need more reconstruction than Iran.
