You are completely wrong. Peter was married. Hell, Jesus cured his mother in law. Philip had four daughters. It is not unrealistic, and is pretty much accepted, that several of the disciples had children. And no, Paul did not, but Paul did not teach that one should not have children, nor did he teach that one should not take a wife. Far from that, he taught that one should not have a wife, or children, until they understood themselves. And that is good advice.
As to Maslow, yes, reproduction is on the bottom rung, but, who is to say that self-actualization doesn't include having children? The most you can be? Now go back to Psalms, as I quoted, children are arrows in a quiver. My children are my army. I am a better man, a stronger man, than I would be without them.
