Why would anyone want to have kids?

The best thing about kids is making them- Rodney Dangerfield (from a movie or something he was in I forget)
Didn't you say you're losing your home or something? Shouldn't you be job-hunting and apartment-hunting right now?

All of the evidence indicates that a zygote isn't a kid. It has no brain or consciousness.
Omg, Midnight is back.

The only difference between a zygote and an adult is stage of development. Nothing else.
Nope. It has no brain and consciousness to speak of. That is a huge difference. In fact, the only one which matters.

It's a stage of development and nothing else. Lot of difference between a newborn and an adult. Do we kill newborns?

For starters:

Children are a drain on one's time and financial resources.

Society allows degenerates to produce offspring, who often wind up being degenerates.

Many children are born simply because people are acting on the biological imperative to produce offspring, even though it's often an outdated drive from our evolutionary past that doesn't serve our more rational interests. This results in children being born into poverty and undesirable circumstances.

Based on the factors above, I'm curious why anyone would want to have kids, when the reality is that many people may be better off not.
You have binoculars, an industrial size tub of lotion, and almost no skin left on your palms, don’t you?
