And . . . here is why California will Have a Republican in the Governor's Mansion next Year

Good format for this issue. One by one, each candidate is asked about the issue of boys in girls sports.

Here is what I heard, but I acknowledge I have a strong bias. You are welcome to listen for yourself:

Steve Hilton (Rep) – Frontrunner Former Brit

Opposes the California law requiring boys to be allowed to be on girls teams and in girls locker rooms. Believes it violates the California Constitution.

Chad Bianco (Rep) – 2nd Runner

Strongly in favor of protecting girls. A coach who understands the difference between male and female athletes. Will never allow an 18 year old man to strip down in front of 14 year old girls in a girls locker room.

Katie Porter (Dem) 3rd runner now that she engineered the ouster of Swalwell

Leads with “governing body rules.” Moves to word salad then says she supports current California law requiring boys in girls sports.

Unknown old white man who wore sneakers to the interview but didn’t get CG. (Dem, I guess)

Trans kids will kill themselves if they can’t play girls sports, so the girls are not what’s important.

Matt Mahan (Dem) Also Ran so far.

Thinks it is “disgusting” to oppose males in girls sports (so most Californians disgust him). Tells his soccer playing daughter “I can imagine a scenario where she ends up in a game and there’s a transgender athlete born a boy who . . . I could imagine that being unfair . . . but I also think that we are allowing ourselves to evolve to a point where blah, blah, blah"

Then he punts to the NCAA (which is the governing body for college sports) as Porter started to.

Xavier Becerra (Dem) Used to be an important guy, now pretty much the bottom of the heap.

Ignorant of the California law. Had to have it read to him. Supports the law, then falls back on “Governing body.”

Antonio Villaraigosa (Dem) Never heard of him. Former Speaker of California Assembly. Looks mobbed up to me.

Says it’s a non-issue because there are only 200 transgender athletes. But – “at the end of the day” males who go through puberty and then transition should not play “other women.” So half right in my opinion.

Unknown Asian looking woman that they forgot the CG for (Dem I guess)

Doesn’t know, wants to learn more. May have stumbled into the interview looking to audition for Wheel of Fortune.

Toney Thurmond (Dem) Only black guy the Dems let in the race this year.

Can’t understand why the Trump administration hates and bullies trans kids. Fully supports males in female sports.

People . . .

Democrats do not get that Americans care about their daughters, nieces, granddaughters and female children of friends and family more than they care about this transgender fad.

It isn't about numbers and it is not just about athletics.. One swinging dick in a locker room full of forty females changing for PE is one too many. Especially, if it is the PE teacher.

Nope. No way. Nix, no, nein, nada.

Ah...so you think a rep will fix CA. Just like rep Gov. Schwarzenegger did in 2 terms.

They protected him for years. If you don't see that, it's because you don't want to look.
Who, specifically? Who knew about it (other than the women involved) and didn't say anything. Be specific.

Only when he got in the way of Katie Porter becoming governor, did the Dems decide to allow their media to report what they have long known.
Oh, really? You must think that Porter has superpowers, then.
Yes, once they were given permission. They already knew the story, they just had not been allowed to tell it.
Given permission by who? Frankly, most of us had never heard of Katie Porter before this.
Because none of that proves wrongdoing.

For that matter, wrongdoing by Swalwell is not proven. But he made himself look guilty by resigning from political life. Let me know when Trump does that.

Wait, now, Trump says on video that he can grab a woman by her genitals any time he wants to because he's entitled to, and you think that doesn't prove anything?

If anyone was protected, it was Trump, not Swalwell.

Democrats are much more prominently listed in the Epstein files than Republicans No surprise there.
Trump is mentioned 38,000 times in the Epstein files.
He hung out at Mar-a-Lago.
He partied with Trump
He hired people from Trump's organization. (Why Trump was employing underaged girls is a good question).
Trump knew that Epstein "liked girls on the young side"

Nah.

You don't want to look, I'm not going to try to force you to see.
Oh, really? You must think that Porter has superpowers, then.
Doesn't take superpowers to send your friend to post about Swalwell.

It proves that Trump was guilty of locker room talk in what the thought was a private moment.

Clinton did the same and you protect him.

Except for the hiring part. Democrats hate job creators.

Nah.

You don't want to look, I'm not going to try to force you to see.
So you can't name anyone who was in on the coverup, then?

I've never talked in a locker room like that. I've never heard anyone else do it, either.

He wasn't in a locker room, He was in a trailer with a reporter who had a camera rolling.

Clinton did the same and you protect him.

Except for the hiring part. Democrats hate job creators.
Biden created 16 million new jobs.
Obama created 10 million New jobs.

If you want to live like a Republican, vote for a Democrat.

Nope, nobody cares about your transphobia.
How ironic. "Women's lib" teaches you to despise men for their discrimination against, persecution of and harrasment and assault of women. Now men who pretend to be women can have access to actual women to do all those things "Women's lib" fought to end.

Wow, it seems you have a major misunderstanding of Feminism. Also, nobody has said "Women's Lib" since the 1970s, grandpa!

Oh I understand "WOMEN'S LIB(ERATION)" quite well, thank you very much. But let's break it down:
"WOMEN'S LIB(ERATION)" DOES teach us to despise men who:
Discriminate against women.

You're telling me that isn't true? You think it's fine and dandy for men to discriminate against women?
Persecute women.
Now You say it's ok for men to persecute women?
Harrass women.
You're ok with this too?
Assualt women.
Now you're telling me any violence against women is fine by you?

We have come a long way baby!

So you can't name anyone who was in on the coverup, then?
Nancy Pelosi, Ruben Gallegos, and every Democrat briefed by the FBI about Fang Fang.
I've never talked in a locker room like that. I've never heard anyone else do it, either.

He wasn't in a locker room, He was in a trailer with a reporter who had a camera rolling.
Of course you didn't!

kids who play Happy Peppy, Nobody Loses Soccer, don't talk about girls in the locker room. LoL! You and your friends just speculated about how big your participation trophies would be this year.

If you want to live like a Republican, vote for a Democrat.
You are so eager to change the subject from swalwell and his democrat enablers.

Here is what a guilty person looks like trying to talk his way out of it:

He and Nancy should step down gracefully.

If Gallegos is so easily manipulated "for many years" as he claims, then how can he be trusted? What the nation's secrets?

He was manipulated by the guy who was himself manipulated by Fang Fang, the Chinese spy.

And it is not just Galiegos; all of the democrats are claiming that they had no idea that any of this was going on for all these years.

You didn't phrase it that way. You didn't phrase it to hate men who engage in the offending behavior, you phrased it to hate men because they do that stuff because they are men.

You are a very dumb person.

Why would they know this?

Why would they know this?
Dude.

They literally have a taxpayer provided slush fund to settle sexual misconduct complaints by female Congressional staffers by giving them a payout accompanied by a non-disclosure agreement. The fund's existence is known, but the details of who is paid off and why is a closely guarded secret - from everyone except members of Congress.

They know.

Swalwell's not the only one, and I'm sure it is bi-partisan. Republicans have known also, how could they not. Now they can only roll their eyes at this intra-mural backstabbing festival to get rid of Swalwell, whose misfortune was to get in the way of Katie Porter being governor of California instead of a Republican.

Nope, nobody cares about your transphobia.

Here's what's more likely. Swalwell's support will go to either Porter or Steyer.

That will be enough to push either of them into first place, and after that, they'll make short work of the Republican.
You cannot decide between it going to Porter or Steyer?

Then the most likely scenario is Porter and Steyer splitting his voters. This, a Republicans governs California.

If I were Steyer, I wouldn't turn my back on Porter if that happens . . .

The fund's existence is known, but the details of who is paid off and why is a closely guarded secret - from everyone except members of Congress.

That's a gross mischaracterization. That fund exists (like any large organization) as a stopgap to liability. Not just for members of Congress, but for staffers as well.

Swalwell's not the only one, and I'm sure it is bi-partisan. Republicans have known also, how could they not. REpublicans have had their share of creeps. Bob Packwood. Newt Gingrich. Livingstone. Henry Hyde (I actually met him once when I used to be a Republican. He couldn't even stand up he was so fat.) Gonzalez.

Obviously, you suck at math.

Let me help you out.

Before Swalwell dropped out, he was pulling about 9-18%.

Even if Porter and Steyer spit that evenly that would put them both ahead of Bianco and Hilton.

Not to mention, about 20% of the electorate -mostly Democrats, haven't picked a candidate yet.

If I were to bet on anything, I suspect that Porter and Steyer will shut out the two Repukes.

If the Repukes want to stay in this, they should put all their chips on Hilton and hope he survives. He'll still lose in November, but he'll make them work for it a bit more.

You deliberately missed the point of course. I mentioned the fund to dispute your absurd claim that the others in Congress knew nothing of Swalwell's abuse of his staff.
REpublicans have had their share of creeps. Bob Packwood. Newt Gingrich. Livingstone. Henry Hyde (I actually met him once when I used to be a Republican. He couldn't even stand up he was so fat.) Gonzalez.
No doubt that Republicans are often creeps.

That's why I'm not a Republican.

Assuming that none of Swalwell's voters either stay home in disgust, or vote for one of the Republicans, that math might well work out for you (and Porter).

If Porter can surpass just one of the Republicans who are polling so well, she will be on the ticket with the other one. That happens, the DNC machine will pull out all the stops to make sure the Mashed Potatoes lady wins.

Will this be her campaign's theme song?

Then why would it need to be secret from the taxpayers who fund it?

You deliberately missed the point of course. I mentioned the fund to dispute your absurd claim that the others in Congress knew nothing of Swalwell's abuse of his staff.

There isn't a company in the world that doesn't handle discrimination and harassment claims confidentially with NDAs. There's no evidence that any of Swalwell's accusers went to the ethics committee with these complaints. They went to the newspapers instead.

No doubt. That's why I'm not a Republican.
No, you're a MAGA cultist. I wish we could bring back sensible Republicans.

Assuming that none of Swalwell's voters either stay home in disgust, or vote for one of the Republicans, that math might well work out for you (and Porter).
No one who was going to vote for Swalwell was going to switch to a Repuke.

Unlikely they'll stay home in disgust, either. They know this is too important.

Again, 23% of the electorate is still undecided, and along with the 13% that Swalwell was pulling, they will likely to go to Porter or Steyer.

If Porter can surpass just one of the Republicans who are polling so well, she will be on the ticket with the other one. That happens, the DNC machine will pull out all the stops to make sure the Mashed Potatoes lady wins.

You seem pretty fixated on Porter, when Steyer is probably the stronger candidate given his resources and that there aren't any embarassing stories out there about him berating staff or dumping mashed potatoes on someone.
