It would be great if you could explain why you believe that.
* have you found the claimed moses tablets they madeup yet to verify your criminality.
Only if you ignore what was written. That's how I arrived at my conclusion. The context was about who Jesus was, not who Peter was.
Your loss.I won't.
The Holy Spirit isn't a person that one has a relationship with. If "it" were the disciples and the early church would have recognized and acknowledged it. The HS only became a person in 381 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea, and only in the Roman church. When the true church came out of hiding (the Reformation) the trinity was not part of Christian doctrine. Only those later denominations that concurred with the authority of Rome accepted the trinity doctrine.Your loss.
The Holy Spirit has always existed just like Jesus has always existed. The Holy Spirit isn't a person that one has a relationship with. Jesus Christ is the head of the church. Members of his church are the body of the church. Peter was the foundation upon which Christ built his church.Well then there, was the church built on Peter, or Jesus Christ?
You have no evidence, so you have no facts.the facts speak for themselves - just not for liars, desert dwellers who refuse to validate the truth - zing.
When was it recognized that Peter was the foundation of the church, the first Pope (papa)?Jesus Christ is the head of the church. Members of his church are the body of the church. Peter was the foundation upon which Christ built his church.
When Jesus made him so. Who else do you believe Jesus made the leader of his church? When was it recognized that Peter was the foundation of the church, the first Pope (papa)?
Peter was killed by the Romans, in Rome. Three hundred years later he became the first Pope of the brand spanking new Roman church. Meanwhile the true church went into hiding without a human leader. See Revelation 12.When Jesus made him so. Who else do you believe Jesus made the leader of his church?
You didn’t answer the question. If not Peter then who?Peter was killed by the Romans, in Rome. Three hundred years later he became the first Pope of the brand spanking new Roman church. Meanwhile the true church went into hiding without a human leader. See Revelation 12.
Why is a human figurehead needed. I think Jesus Christ is a pretty good foundation. Church offices are described for us in the NT, no Pope included. "Call no man your (spiritual) father..."You didn’t answer the question. If not Peter then who?
Ask Jesus because Jesus said, 19l I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.* Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”Why is a human figurehead needed. I think Jesus Christ is a pretty good foundation. Church offices are described for us in the NT, no Pope included. "Call no man your (spiritual) father..."
I believe that power and authority was given to all of the apostles, but did not continue after their deaths, including Peter. If there was a "chief apostle" it would have been James, not Peter.
We must not be reading the same thing.I believe that power and authority was given to all of the apostles, but did not continue after their deaths, including Peter. If there was a "chief apostle" it would have been James, not Peter.
