No, the first Christians were Jewish which makes it impossible that they thought of Jesus as God. They believed he was the messiah because he did things that no other man but the messiah could do by revealing hidden teaching in the book of the Law and said so in John 6:68 when Jesus asked if they would leave him too after he explained the metaphor for eating flesh. Simon Peter replied, "Lord to whom shall we go? Your WORDS are WORDS of eternal life. We have faith and KNOW that you are the Holy One of God." (as promised in Deut 18:18)

The Jews Bible is the Tanakh. Not just the Pentateuch. Who are you to only see the Pentateuch as the Bible?
