Trump’s ‘Alien Files’ Could Shatter Christian Beliefs, Churches Should Prepare For It, Claim Pastors

If the discovery of the 116,000 year old human footprint fossil near Saudi Arabia hasn't had any effect, nothing will.

Trump’s ‘alien files’ could shatter Christian beliefs, churches should prepare for it, claim pastors

This is hilarious.

It seems some End Times pastors claim they were summoned by the US government to an Airbnb in Tennessee hillbilly country. There they were told the impending X files about to be released by the government will shatter Christian beliefs.

We are not alone! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

So say these frickin' whackadoo demagogues.

Popular evangelist pastor Perry Stone said that the alien files could include reports and possibly videos of aliens and extraterrestrial spacecraft.

"You're going to have people who are going to say if there are galaxies and there are allegedly other creations in the galaxies, then the whole creation story is a myth, and you're going to have people that's going to apostatise and turn from the Christian faith because they have no answer for what they're about to hear," said Stone.

[snip]

Stone said that the upcoming revelations could make the Christian Bible look like a myth and cause believers to "fall away" from the teachings of Christianity.

The group, which also involved Bishop Alan DiDio of Revival Nation Church, suggested the Trump administration’s revelations will be part of a plot designed to pull people away from Christianity. But ultraconservative voices in the administration have taken up an anti-alien stance.

.
But thank God, no pun intended, there is one voice of reason in all of this:

Earlier in March, Vice President JD Vance dubbed extraterrestrial beings as "demons".

"I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons," said Vance.

Considering the fact that Homo sapiens emerged about 300,000 years ago

That doesn’t mean a lot

So, has anyone had their beliefs shattered over a few vague pictures?

Let's assume that the photos were crystal clear and were definitive proof of aliens. Let's say beings from another planet landed in your back yard and held a press conference. How does that disprove the existence of God?

What "Adam thing"? Feel free to quote the verse in the bible which tells us the age of the earth, or that God only created life on earth.

Remember the Bible was written to you but not for you.
Its an allegory written with the knowledge of the time. In some ways quite advanced. The story does assume life on earth was the only life in creation.

Did i say it did? No. I was addressing the original issue.

It disrupts the Christian interpretation of Genesis which is a distortion anyway. If one thinks its literal and Adam and Eve actually existed then youre dealing with a concrete narrow mind. It doesnt take much to upset them

I'm telling you why some will have a problem with it. You're looking to argue with the wrong person

Humans have always enjoyed their fantasies.

Gods are not provable or disprovable.

There is a high probability that intelligent life exists, existed, or will exist elsewhere, but a high improbability of it visiting here. It would be far too much of a bother, with far too little recompense.

No, that's the opinion of someone who doesn't believe in the he God of the Bible if you even believe in Him at all

The Old Testament is allegorical with the exception of Leviticus which is civil law. Adam Eve and the serpent are metaphors they never really existed.
The God of the Bible is not Jesus
