I think even the so called atheists know God exists, they just chose not to follow God’s laws. They don’t want to give up their sinful life. They’d rather believe “there is nothing wrong with me doing this”.

Whether it was a Catholic Saint or priest, I remember learning this: The first time you do something that is wrong or even feels wrong, the conscience gives a little pinch. When one elects to do it a second time, not so much guilt. Then none. After that it becomes something one needs to do, feels they must do. Could it be sin is addictive....

It indeed is belief without evidence. Else we would not need the word to exist. We have words for making evidence-based determinations, and none of them are the word, "faith".

If you are genuinely curious, you will do the latter.
Physical.forces arrange molecules into a.membrane, when they can create lipid bonds and have a hydrophilic and hydrophobic end. When the membrane forms are closed surface, now you have a closed membrane. Like a cell membrane.

We all live by faith. If we didn't, we would take a testing kit into the pharmacy to make sure that the pills we buy and consume actually contain the ingredients they are supposed to contain. We would insist that every chair we sit in first be tested by our same weight. We would test all of our food for contaminates before eating it.
The bottom line is, we believe what someone else tells us, so we don't insist on verifying everything for ourselves. Otherwise, how do you know that THIS is the time when the chair fails and you break your neck? How do you know that THIS time the wrong pills were put in your bottle, and you die? We don't know, we go on faith that they are safe.
The difference between belief and faith? Belief is, "I believe that when a chair is assembled a certain way, it will hold up and won't dump me on the floor". Faith is, I sit in the chair without testing every part of it before sitting down. Belief is, "I believe that manufacturing processes are safe and reliable and the pills I am prescribed will help me, not kill me." Faith is, I take the pills without first verifying that none of them have been either contaminated, wrongly manufactured or simply the wrong pills put in the bottle.
We live by faith.
Genuine curiosity would ask how long ideal conditions would be required to exist in order for that to happen. One thing we know about the early earth is that it was not stable for any length of time.

I have personally known many people, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Pagans, Hindu, Buddhist, Rastafarians, cops, criminals, hoods, and "sinners", who were, like me, born that way, immune to the poison of serpents. Many atheists and agnostics who need verifiable proof before they accept any belief as the irrefutable truth. Many rational intelligent people out there who just aren't that easily beguiled. Many who are not given to superstitious fantasy. And there are many more who had an awakening later in life and rose to everlasting life from the dead.
What that adds up to, however many people are aware, alive, and living free from guilt and shame? I don't know.
Maybe billions suffering the consequences from the cruelty, sadism, and greed of a few despicable demons who have usurped positions of authority, openly and brazenly standing in a high place where lowlifes do not belong.
To understand what Jesus meant by saying, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." see Genesis 3:14
