Trump is in his wheelhouse when he is doing rallies. It may be good for him to get out there and mingle with the people. New York of all places.

The guy doesn't stop but he probably realized "I have to be back with the people". Those who voted for him wanted MAGA. They want to win for America instead of losing to China. Too many Never Trumpets have caught his attention perhaps.

You are correct in terms of his rallies, his 2016 really broke the ceiling. Much of the time we would shake our head in shock but we also laughed a lot. He was a big deal for ratings on cable at a time they desperately needed the boost.

Covid prevented him from winning re-elecrion for multiple reasons. The economy was booming then before covid and it had to have worried the China-First Establishment types around the globe.
