Why don't you want to tax the rich?

Because it is their money, they earned it, keep your hands to yourself, the democrat party is the party of covetousness. You love to spend other peoples money
Well, finally we have a president who is opposed to spending other people's money.

You did not answer the question or even addressed it. People run the country and the government is there to help them. Does that mean that there isn't corruption and taking advantage of it? "No", it means that "certain" people IN THE government use it to their advantage. That happens to either/both parties. As such, controls need to be instituted that prevent or restrict the amount of advantage that is taken by those corrupt people.

Nonetheless, there is no nation that can be a nation without some form of government. As such, the idea is to make the government as beneficial to the people as it can be and not just to those presently in power.
I absolutey did answer it. Your accusation is a bald faced lie

No the government is not there to help them

The government is there to provide a few basic securities and that is it

You really are in the far right field

The U.S. Constitution was written to create a stronger federal government than the weak Articles of Confederation, but one that was limited to protect people's rights, establishing justice, ensuring domestic tranquility, promoting general welfare, and securing liberty for current and future generations, all under the principle of "We the People". It aimed to balance national power with individual freedoms through separation of powers, checks and balances, and ultimately, by placing power in the hands of the people through representation, providing a stable framework for a new nation.

No I am saying we have been taxing everyone and raising taxes on everyone for a long time while the government spends out of control. Raising anyones taxes accomplishes exacgtly nothing. It is time to force government to control spending
Hey, sometimes we need a $350 million ballroom. And it costs a lot of money to raze part of the White House. And we need gilding in the White House. And the FBI needs a fleet of luxury vehicles and a patio instead of a rose garden. Those necessities aren't cheap.

The ballroom is free, stupid.

Grow a brain.

Ther government is different from the private sector. These are two different economies. Less government money means we have more.
More billionaires also means we have more.
Trump is making massive tax and spending cuts 300000 useless government workers laid off. The result 3 quarters of GDP growth record DOW wages up

The left worked on bipartisan legislation with Bush
Once Obama was elected, Republicans refused to work on any issue no matter how insignificant.

You reap what you sow
The right has worked on bipartisan issues since Ronald Reagan. The left has, without fail, refused to compromise.

On anything.

100% bullshit.

The Constitution put limitations on what the fed govt is allowed to do. Politicians have ignored it.
It's not bullshit. Shays Rebellion made them realize they needed a stronger central government. There were limits, of course. But the purpose was to make a central government stronger than what we had.

The government is not the country. The government serves the country in theory.

The only benefit which is acceptable is some basic security allowing one to live ones own life win or fail.
I do agree that people, in whatever party is in charge, have taken advantage of being in power. Nonetheless, the reality is that the only way to fix it is by both parties being involved (and compromising) on fixing it to the best it can be (by nature, nothing is ever perfect).

Raising taxes according to one's income is the FAIR way to run a nation, given that a nation is a team and not an individual stage for some people to use it to their advantage.

If you are going to take advantage of the fact you live in the best country in the world, you need to pay/contribute for it according to the benefits you receive from it

As the left has been telling us Trump owns the economy ever since he raised tariffs, they can;t do anything but give him credit for the strong growth, low inflation, and full employment.

Without lying, anyway.
Who pays the tariffs?

There is "some" truth to what you say but when you say "more billionaires means we have more", I disagree to a certain extent. If the billionaires are like Buffett, that is true, but if the Billionaires are most, they take more from our country than they give back, and that is a negative.

Here is a caring-for-the-nation billionaire that agrees with me.

Warren Buffett strongly believes the wealthy should pay more in taxes, arguing they are "undertaxed" relative to the middle class and that higher taxes on the rich are essential to reduce the national deficit and fund government services, a principle leading to the "Buffett Rule" proposal. He's consistently advocated for the rich, including himself, to pay higher rates on unearned income like capital gains and dividends, noting he often pays a lower percentage than his secretary.
