If anything, we need to pass a bill that if you leave California the state still has the right to come after you and chase you as if you were still a resident there.

WA millionaire tax law has been passed by the democrats and signed into law by King Ferguson. It was immediately challenged and is headed to WA supreme court. Also the democrat unconstitutional law that is an attack on elected sheriffs and the voters that elected them is headed for the courts as well.

I hope these states continue to pass legislation that makes it more costly for people to live in these states and cities. The people voting for these socialist Democrats will finally experience what economic failure Democrat policies yield. Hochul and Mamdani are chasing people out of NY with the economic impact of their policies.

As I have posted many times on here, democrats don't have anything to worry about. The more people paying taxes that leave the state due to it's high tax rates can be easily made up by just taxing the remaining residents more.

LOL, story today about Detroit offering up to 300 people their share of $500K to help with down payments, renovation and relocation costs if they come to Detroit. This could include gym memberships and meals. It claims that it is being funded by a non-profit, but I wonder how much that non-profit is going to get from tax coffers. SMH, let the suckers who remain in Detroit pay taxes to attract people. Democrats don't have a clue.

I used to hire and train management trainees outside of Detroit for a small retail chain and they often had management positions come open in Detroit and that's one place where my trainees would often have to go when an opening came up. Relocation was mandatory. They didn't have a choice. It wasn't easy to find people who were willing to relocate to Detroit. They had a very well deserved bad reputation there. Most of my trainees sweated bullets hoping they would be relocated anywhere else but Detroit.

I won't even vacation in blue states. I won't spend any money there whatsoever. I won't even get gas or eat there if I have to pass through. When I moved here, it was a red state. If it goes fully blue, I might have to move.

I was wondering if someone would ask me that. It was many years ago but to the best of my recollection I don’t remember any of them quitting before relocation but there were a few who quit immediately after relocation. We did try to drill into them upon hiring that they could go to Detroit and weeded out the ones we felt wouldn’t go.
