Ridiculous. There is a reason that those making between 50-100 vote more Republican, while those making less than 50 vote more Democrat. The poorest of the poor are voting for taking money from those making more than them. At 50-100k people tend to see that there is opportunity and taking money from those that are more successful isn't the answer.

Skipped right over the point, didn't you. The rural areas are not well off compared to where they were 60 years ago, when I started vacationing there.

Dont forget the governor who in the past told the rich to leave if they dont like the taxes. Toady she is begging them to come back. Texas and Florida are getting rich buy the wealthy leaving NY and CA. I left NJ for the same reason. Taxes waste you pay more and get less
