Here are the “rich” Mamdani wants to tax

I don't think so. Lots of government aid and industry participation.

You think that 20 billion in the Marshall plan made a big difference. It was barely a token amount, even for the time.

Now, the one thing they DID do right is when they were setting up new governments in Europe, they sent over a bunch of liberal New Deal types, who set up the kind of systems that they only dreamed of having in the US. Socialized Medicine, extensive social welfare programs, etc.

Which is why these countries are so much more prosperous than we are today.

Mamdani proposes that NY slash its estate tax ceiling from $7 million to $750,000. Below are photos of how these “rich” live, and from whom Mamdani wants to steal in order to give out more welfare, as each house is in the market in NY for more than $800k.

Ever heard of a negotiation? Say $3,5M and both sides win.

The legislative branch, he’s the executive. I know that’s a hard concept to grasp, given Trump’s claims to an all powerful executive branch.
The legislative branch are all leftists. That was my point.

Actually, wealth redistribution happens through legislation or revolution. Better the former.

France 1787
Russia 1917
China 1949
Cuba 1959
Iran 1979

They all had what you think is wonderful. But eventually the poor just got sick of it.

If 60% of the population has no stake in your system, it will not last.

Heck, even Trump plays the Class Envy Card. (But only against rich people who consider him crass and uncouth.)

What you don’t seem to understand is that everyone is not getting “sick of it”. On one hand we are told that educated professionals are Democrats. Those people are making enough money not to be “sick” of anything. Evidently it is the poor, uneducated folks that vote for Republicans, at least that is what we are told.

On the other hand, it is the “rich” Republicans who push wealth disparity. Those people evidently just got lucky. They aren’t successful due to hard work. And the poor people who vote Republican are just stupid. They are voting for their own demise.

The funny thing is that it is Democrats that are “sick of it”, which implies that either they are the ones that are, by and large unsuccessful, spoiled, envious or a combination of the three. They are the ones pushing for the US to adopt the same type of oppressive governments you listed above, all in the name of “fairness.” They are just too steeped in their ideology to realize it.

The reality is that Democrats are represented by the poorest of the poor who want more and more from those who make it, the richest of the rich who feel as though they will be in the elite class when Socialism/Communism kicks in and some fully indoctrinated, guilt-ridden middle class folks. Aside from the elites and the ultra-ultra-poor(as in living on the streets poor), all of them are voting against their own self-interest in the long run.

Actually, Europe and Japan are far more advanced than we are... with China getting ready to eat our lunch.

I have seen the average home in Europe, Japan and China. I have no desire to live like that. You may live in a very large city like NY and are used to that type of living. Again, you don’t realize what you are ultimately voting for…it’s just a feel good, utopian, idealistic ideology.

When it comes to affordability, disposable income and lifestyle, the US is a top dog in the world, minus maybe tiny Luxembourg. I don’t think many of you “woe is me” Democrats realize that.

That’s democracy. Look it up. Kind of like holding the House, Senate and WH.
And that’s the danger of allowing in all these anti-America immigrants and making them citizens.

The Democrat Party consists primarily of the 40% or so of people living off of other people’s money, and the top 10% rich enough to buy their way out of the consequences of Democrat policies.

The backbone of America - the working and middle class - are the Republican Party voters.

And that is why the Dems have imported tens of millions of unskilled, semi-literate foreigners who can’t support their families. They need to increase the 40% of Americans on welfare to 50%, and then grant blanket amnesty.

Or. They've watched their parents work hard all their lives with very little to show for it. This is why Socialism appeals to so many of them now. Capitalism is a shit sandwich.

If you are making less than six figures, you have no business voting Republican. Period.

Full stop.

Honestly, I'd rather live in an urban area than a rural one. I drive through rural Wisconsin every summer on my way to vacation, and you can see the decline over the last 40 years.

We are a sad empire in decline, and Trump is our latest Crazy Emperor.

That's not really true, either. In fact, across all economic divides, the vote is split pretty evenly.

Capitalism is far better than Socialism, but you have bought into a fake narrative. I would love for all people who believe that Capitalism is so bad to move to a Socialist country for 1 year. That would change their tune very quickly.

Ridiculous. There is a reason that those making between 50-100 vote more Republican, while those making less than 50 vote more Democrat. The poorest of the poor are voting for taking money from those making more than them. At 50-100k people tend to see that there is opportunity and taking money from those that are more successful isn't the answer.

Honestly, I'd rather live in an urban area than a rural one. I drive through rural Wisconsin every summer on my way to vacation, and you can see the decline over the last 40 years.

Good for you. I am very happy that there are people like you. Somebody has to live there and it keeps rural areas less crowded.

We are a sad empire in decline, and Trump is our latest Crazy Emperor.

Again, one of the best, if not the best, lifestyle in the world is in the US.
