Do you understand that corporate taxes are considered a cost of doing business in the tax code and that therefore, corporate taxes are included in the prices we pay for products, and yes, even the poor will pay those taxes. Again, why should any citizen reap the benefits of citizenship and pay nothing for them? There will always be rich and poor and there will always be wars or threats of wars.

The free market determines the price a corporation can charge for goods and services

Corporations benefit from what we provide for education, infrastructure, defense….much more than the working poor

Flat tax of say, 10%

Poor guy making $50K of taxable income: Taxes $5000

Rich guy making $500,000 of taxable income: Taxes $50,000.

The taxes are effective for 2025 as many have stated that the refunds will be much better because taxes were withheld at a normal rate, and now will not be taxed. The refunds will reflect that! Why would I lie about something like that?

It doesn't work that way, our economy is not zero sum. If it was, the number of billionaires wouldn't be INCREASING every year.
