Zone1 Why Does God Allow Us to Suffer?

Well, you're right about one thing. Discussing religion/god here is a total waste of my time. Christians are way too deceitful. Where you are in error is thinking there is any kind of choice for me to make. I would never worship any god that judges me.
You will be judged how you judge others. And given your unfair blanket judgement of Christians, that must be how you want to be judged.

You will never know what God is like until you enter into a personal relationship with the creator of existence. And given that you seem content to perceive God the way you do, I doubt that will ever happen.

Who, exactly will judge me?

My answer... you are not that special.
And that is not someone trying to be an asshole, it is someone telling you the truth.
My son is a respiratory specialist at a major children's hospital. And I imagine you can understand why he is not someone you would want to have to see your child. He has stories that would make your hair stand on end.
Just today I was talking to him when he was in his office, and he had to get off the phone because they were struggling to intubate a young child that is dying.

Let's apply that to you. Is your problems as big as that child? His/her parents?

Perspective.

My fiancee and I currently feel abandoned by God with some real life struggles and are currently feeling miserable about it.

We're both wondering if He loves us so much then why does it currently seem like He's ignoring our prayers and allowing us to suffer without getting any answers whether they be yes or no? Just some kind of acknowledgement at least that He's listening.

I thought that Jesus was supposed to answer when you called on His name, but I called for Him until I was blue in the face last night and still nothing. 😞
There is no god “who” listens to your prayers.
