I'm sorry if you thought I was bigotry, the trend that even if I was people are less and less religious has been going on for decades, I don't think that's bigotry to assume that its continued. Besides even if I was bigoted about the issue it doesn't have any effect on trends. You just go ahead and assume the numbers are far worse based on your bigotry.
Embracing Christ is one thing, I firmly believe that if the world had been given the opportunity to openly accept his philosophy we'd all be much better off and much further along in our evolution. Christianity, is altogether a different animal. I doubt if many scientists that weren't already indoctrinated in Christianity would embrace it.I'm speaking of modern scientists coming to a belief in Christianity.

People abandon their atheism for acceptance of Christ all the time. I did it myself, in 1992.Embracing Christ is one thing, I firmly believe that if the world had been given the opportunity to openly accept his philosophy we'd all be much better off and much further along in our evolution. Thank you again, I have enjoyed many of your conversations whether I was in them or not. I believe all paths lead to the Creator ( even the atheists ).I may have misunderstood you. My apologies.
I want to clarify this, so it can't be used as a weapon to attack me, I believe that all paths PEOPLE take lead to the Creator. Whenever I make negative remarks, I do not make them against people, my intent is to criticize institutions, not individuals.Thank you again, I have enjoyed many of your conversations whether I was in them or not. Very kind of you. I pray you are right.Thank you again, I have enjoyed many of your conversations whether I was in them or not. I believe all paths lead to the Creator ( even the atheists ).

Some people have twisted science into a political bludgeon, used against any who disagree with them.why do some people believe religion instead of science

Oh captain, my captain, what is true is not a matter of anybody's "decision."Religion gives an answer. Science tries to describe our surroundings based on theories. Whether the religious answers are right, or the scientific theories are right, is for you to decide.
My conversion came all at once. My wife had always witnessed to me, but it never made any impact; it was kind of annoying sometimes. But she was sincere in her belief, and concerned for my eternal fate, so I listened to her respectfully.People change their briefs all the time every wich way. I'm interested, why did you change your beliefs so radically ? Did it occur in degrees ? , for example you were an atheist, then you were a theist, and then a believer in a specific religious god. Or was it even more dramatic than that ? Just curious, no judgment intended. Free choice is one of the perks of having a life as an individual.

You're right, but not for the reasons you imagine.^^
Just an excuse to politicize scientific topics, when on the wrong side of the science.
