1st - was the Industrial age . The world of giant machines that was only possible thanks to the genius of Newton from many centuries before and thermodynamics

2nd- my fav . Humans conquer a new force called electricity. Thanks to Faraday, Maxwell and Tesla

3rd - really don’t understand but the digital age with lasers and transistors

4th age !! Early right now . The mastery of the very small . Nanotechnology, Genetic engineering and AI . This was will take the rest of the century .
Really modern science is only 300 years old

Humans really didn't conquer electricity. What they did is discover the force carrier for the electron, the photon. That is why we fail at gravity, it is the one force of nature we can define no force carrier for. Perhaps because it isn't a force of matter.

The digital age is simply the act of representing nature with a net of 1s and 0s mapped according to whatever coding best represents the analogy desired.

The industrial age was really the end of agrarian life for the tight centralization of humanity necessary in order to provide the resources needed for by a lot of people, quickly and easily.
