I found a Israeli Kareen Hi Power Clone today for $250.00....The trigger was a bit "gritty" but come to find out it was mag safety related....Easy fix, nice and smooth now.
In fact the pistol was returned due to it.....Good for me.
They were available as surplus back around 2012 or so.
Many were imported "prettied-up" by the importers with new grips and refinished in various ways but CAI imported them as is. They are hard to find now with the OEM Kareen grip panels as most owners replaced them.
This one was made by J.O. Israel Arms and Ammunition LTD. They made them with a combination of Israeli and Hungarian sourced parts. I've yet to find out which parts were what.
Worn finish but an excellent bore. Matching serials.
It came with a Israeli HP holster.
