That's not quite how it works. It never pays to seek out one Bible verse and ignore the rest of the Bible. First, a follower of Christianity knows they must love others from the heart. Jesus also warned at judgment people will say they knew Jesus, but he will be telling them, "I never knew you" (because while claiming to be followers, they did not follow his commands). Then there is the parable that teaches not to leave our gifts at the altar before we have made up with those we have something against, or they have something against us.
