That practice is EXTREMELY rare and closeted. Couldnt find one of those outside of 10 cities in the county. There IS a health risk involved. What major motivation is there for you to DEMAND legislation? Other than its a good thing to bring up anytime the topic is ""how religious practice is annoying to me""..,
Your point reminds me of the points made about voter fraud being an issue in search of a problem or something like that.
The drawing of blood from the circumcision incision is not a sexual act for one thing. If it involved the ear, or a toe we wouldn't even be talking about it. The only reason we do talk about it is because Americans are unnaturally immature and xenophobic. Anything not out of a "Leave it to Beaver" or "Waltons" episode is attacked.
Trust me when I say I can flip open a Bible and cite pleanty of full-on sinful things average America does with their kids. This though is not sinful. Weird, and quaint seeing as how there's been medical devices that do this very thing for some time now ("Nurse, suction." et al.), but not sinful.
