you'd probably do better to look at who the current circuit justices are than to look at demographics.

And how will the president decide on which current circuit justice will fit best on the court?

Will he pick them because of longevity in service, location, age, color hair, length of hair?

I posted a poll on general demographics.

I didn't include Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Moderate, Liberal, or Socialist, because that is pretty much a given depending on who the president is at the time.

the point is not what some people on their computers think. i'm telling you if you want to know who the next justice will be look at the justices on the circuit courts, not at demographics.

I was thinking the same thing. No, I don't think it is really going to happen. But I do believe that Obama would like to be a member of the supremes.

Hey will, how about Morgan Freeman? Seriously, I have no idea who is out there, but I am hoping for a moderate with a heart that doesn't rush to judgement. I believe the Constitution was meant to be a fluid document to be adjusted with the times while maintaining all the basic values so thoughtfully laid down by our fore-bearers. Do you have a person in mind?

I beleive the the constitution should mean exactly what it says, and that there is a process for amendments for changes that need to be made with the times.
