Our nation's Leftists are having a collective Hissy Fit over the recent USSC decision shooting down Louisiana's gambit to ensure a Congressional district that is dominated by Americans of Black African heritage (aka "Black folks").

Constitutional questions aside, consider the underlying assumptions of this collective outrage. The assumption is that Black folks in Louisiana CANNOT be adequately represented by anyone who is not also Black. No White person can represent them. Does that mean that Barry Soetoro was not adequately representing White and Asian Americans during his two awful terms?

The hyperbole is astounding. I am seeing Democrats claiming that this decision takes away Black voting rights!

The Voting Rights Act was based on that assumption as well. Maybe Black folks need to consider producing candidates with universal appeal. OR maybe they need to consider whether it is appropriate for government officials in any capacity should be doing stuff that is targeted at EVERYONE, and not just a single demographic.

Oblama was half white and half black.

The simple way to solve this is to have Proportional Representation.

So all people who see things the same way can vote for the person they want to represent them. A black liberal in Louisiana and a black liberal in Washington state can both vote for the same person.

That's called DEMOCRACY.

Not the shit where gerrymandering is happening all over because both sides are cheats and love their two party dictatorship.

Or they need to accept the fact that being 13% of the population, they're not going to be "in charge" of much.

Just say the quiet part out loud.

Separation is the solution.

Separation is the solution.

Not what I said at all.

Proportional Representation allows people to have a voice. People have different views and those views should be heard.

Right now with two parties almost nobody's voice is heard unless they get VIOLENT.
