Zone1 Who created all things?

I know you believe that my understanding of these ancient texts discredits the bible, but it doesn't. You are only discrediting yourself. If anything you fear my beliefs.
Your beliefs my friend, are in my opinion the only Christian beliefs that can hold water! For fk sake ding, that's the reason why you're always welcome here and in my head.
But more importantly, what you intend for evil is being used by God for good.
I'm happy to hear your attempts at parables too. Can we talk about the 'big fish' or 'Noah's ark' so that I can understand your beliefs a bit better?

You aren't what I would call an honest person. So you will have to forgive me if I don't buy into your latest BS. Yes, I could explain them to you but I think you need to discover the truth in your own time.

He isn’t George Floyd.
I didn’t say he was. He called for peaceful protest. Every single Democrat agrees with that. Every single Democrat agrees with that

Do you fear that America is losing its identity as a white Christian nation or just as a white nation.

The Democrats are rioters and evil.

Hey look hon. You've talked yourself into a box by saying that the bibles aren't literally true! No other Christian on this board has been so dumb! You're on the wrong side and you're going to get your ass roasted every time you try to be clever.

You're just going to have to repent your sinful beliefs and pretend that you accept your bibles as the literal truth. Best to do that now. It's not going to ever get better for any Christian who shits all over the bibles like you're doing.

(snicker)

The god punishes smarter Christians too, even though he tells the truth. It's still sinning. You were thinking that HE is going to sit back and allow HIS WORD to be referred to as lies with a message??

You aren't what I would call an honest person.
There's no need for me to be honest or otherwise as long as I agree with you on the bibles being bullshit.

You're still trying to preach to the choir my friend, and you're getting your ass burned every time. Stop shooting while you have a couple of toes left!

This can't be used as evidence:

Christianity no longer believes that Genesis is literally true.
Donald H:

Since you obviously are not a Christian, you need to keep quiet about what "Christianity" believes.

FYI: Everything written in all 66 books of the Judeo-Christian Bible was written by inspiration of Almighty God Jehovah. The entire book of Genesis is literally true.

Can I still talk about the bibles with you?

I just can't make the Eden garden thing work, along with evolution.

Is it necessary to make both work together, or can we choose one of the stories/theories to throw out?

I think that Christians with strong faith can throw out evolution. Our ding's faith is weak and he's thrown out the Eden garden story.

then provide the etched stone tablets claimed by the liar moses to be from heaven that were never witnessed by anyone but who destroyed them and are included in all three desert bibles - text of which is inexplicable as having been destroyed and could not then be included in those documents.

- all three desert bibles are forgeries.

The tide has turned on accepting the bibles as literally true. The Catholic church itself has led the charge to accepting more plausible explanations as is offered by evolution.

And then more modern and sane Christians like our Ding have followed the churches lead.

Of interest is that the other Christians who are stickiing to the word of the god in the bibles, have decided to resist the change quietly. They've chosen to not be vocal on their outdated beliefs to save humiliation.

The fossil record says evolution never happened. Meanwhile, credible scientific evidence agrees with the Genesis Creation account.

My own belief is that the Bible stories (like “In the beginning ….” and like Adam and Eve) are just that stories. They are not (in my estimation) to be taken literally. Aesop’s fables teach important things, too; but aren’t literally true.

What fossil record says evolution never happened? Link?

In light of the fact you're already claiming the Bible accounts are mere fables, I suggest you go elsewhere for your links regarding evolution myth.

With your attitude, there's nothing I can do for you.

You're using the Catholic Church as your guideline? Them with their fabricated Bible books and their wide assortment of manmade saints? Them and their belief in a trinity god that is found nowhere in the normal 66 books of the Bible? Of course the Protestants broke off from the Catholic Church and took Christendom's false trinity god with them, but that's another argument that requires its own thread.

Evolution theory is the explanation, you say. I guess you don't realize there's a difference between a theory (aka educated guesses) and fact. And I guess you're not aware that the even the most rabid pro-evolution paleontologists have been forced to admit that the fossil record shows no evidence of Darwin's macroevolution myth.

You're in worse shape than I originally thought.

I was really only interested in whether or not you believe in evolution? Clearly you don't! Your rudeness and anger toward me shows that it's an issue for you that you haven't been able to deal with.

Thats not true.

According to the creation account the earth was already a planet before light was SPOKEN into existence.

The world was without shape or form (lawless) and void (exceedingly pointless) and darkness (ignorance) covered the face of the deep (the unknown) and the Spirit of God HOVERED over the waters and said, "Let there be light."

What credible scientific evidence agrees with that?

Take your time.....

Now you just stick with what you believe hon!

You're the first Christian that has strong enough faith to go for the whole bible schtick!

You've become the anti-Ding.

Cool story brah.

So I guess you can’t support your story at all. Right?

That's why they call it blind faith. Some think thats a good thing. Me? Not so much. The fact that a crafty talking serpent is introduced in the very first story should have been a dead giveaway that it was like any fairy tale.

Now that doesn't mean there is no truth conveyed. It just means the subjects are not necessarily directly connected to the literal meaning of the words used and the moral teaching of the story was never written down. Just like the moral of the story of the three pigs was never written down, because its obvious to the intelligent.

And then there are angry people out there who would never worship a God who let the big bad wolf eat grandma.

People are strange.

My belief is influenced by the child-like stories said to be God’s literal word and by the fossil record. These things combine to tell me that what the Bible is could hardly be the literal word of God.

That being so, I still believe in a Creator because all of everything just popping into existence out of nothing strikes me as being absurd.
