I already registered to vote. That's the only "effort" I need to exert.

If a state government or the Federal government wants me to have a precious, meaningless voter ID card, then mail it to me. Mail a voter ID to every registered voter, instead of Republican assholes trying to cheat college students and minorities. Simple solution.
