Really? Is that why there was no protest at the Capitol this week by the Democrats and Harris did certify the election? Contrary to what happened in 2021 where there was a protest, they did go into the Capitol and they wanted Pence to nullify the elected president?

What they want and what they do are two DIFFERENT things. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (such as "it was an insurrection") but what they do is what counts.

The Far Right and Trump tried to take down the elected president by force or by illegal (against the Constitution) means. The Democrats have not done that.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It is what actually is done that counts.
You've a poor understanding of lawfare Lucky

Such are partisan blinders ......

The denial is understandable, now that the tables have turned......

But that's what happens with a shift of power to sorts that believe one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter

You all words and no proof of anything. If you want to make a point you have to be detailed and offer data, statistics and facts to back you up.

I do know that you believe what you say but so does everyone else in this world (that is 8 billion people) and most are wrong.

You will not get me to even read your posts until you supply facts

you're more than welcome to put me on ignore

but you'll have a harder time ignoring the truth when Trump brings it all on out Lucky ;)

two assassination attempts by your side didn't slow him down

I have NO DOUBT that Trump will do (or at least try to do - he is basically incompetent) what he says and what you want. That has not been in doubt.

What I doubt is that YOU will be happy with the results. Of course and in making this prediction, I am assuming that you are not a Billionaire. Billionaires will be ecstatic with Trump. They will get richer and have more power. People like you or me (whether we are for or against Trump) will end up paying the price.

The "enemies within" is something that is happening everywhere in the world and it is evident that this is all based on whether you believe in Democracy or Dictatorship?

Definition of Democracy: A government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.

Definition of Dictatorship: A dictatorship is a form of government characterized by the rule of one person or a small group of people who have no checks and balances on their power. While portrayed to their people as benevolent, loving rulers, dictators typically come to power simply to benefit themselves.
In addition, we see what Putin has accomplished in Russia with his 80% acceptance rate and we look at so many of the failures that have occurred through Democracy where the needs and desires of the people have not been met, and we see why Trump and the Dictatorship idea has taken such a strong hold.
We now see that the Constitution that are forefathers fought for when they were ruled by the King of England is been put aside. Are we ready to give up what we have been the representatives of during the past 248 years and go back to having a Dictator care for us?

So the question is: Who is now the enemy within? Is it MAGA, that believes one man (Trump) will do the best for all of us, or the Democratic Libertarians, that believe that the people should have a representative-of-the-people government.
It really does come down to the me, me, me or the us, us. us type of mentality as one thing that has been proven a thousand times before: ."While portrayed to their people as benevolent, loving rulers, dictators typically come to power simply to benefit themselves"

What is at stake is justice by and of the established laws, individual freedom, free speech, preventive regulations that protect us all from the rich and powerful taking advantage and using us.
.

You are one of them, need we say more-)

and what you mean to infer is a classist stance Lucky?

well then, we're back to OP inquiry, are we not?

The enemies within are partially Soros funded judges and prosecutors. Soros also runs the Tides foundation, Move On, America coming together and more. All veiled Marxist foundations.

No way american born citizens can be enemies.

agreed Leo

so how's that workin' out for the marxists ?

~S~
They got Marxists into our legal system. Hopefully that will no longer 'work out' for them.

In my opinion, Trump and the Far Right are the enemies within. The extreme Far Right is in control and ANY extreme is bad. Trump likes and wants to be a dictator and everyone is an enemy to a dictator.

The classic stance is what has been seen a thousand times before in the history of the world. One man takes power and he rules for his benefit and for those around him that also have money and power (like Russia with Putin and the Oligarchs).

You mean to say that the 234 judges picked by Trump don't look out for him?

The total number of Trump Article III judgeship nominees to be confirmed by the United States Senate was 234, including three associate justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 54 judges for the United States courts of appeals, 174 judges for the United States district courts, and three judges for the United ...

You are describing the far left, who used one man with limited brain power (Biden) in an attempt to undermine America.

First, lets get our definitions right. I noticed you used the "nice" definition of democracy, as you'd like people to think you believe. The true democracy definition that you all believe in is:

government by the people : rule of the majority

And you left out the definition of a republic:

a government in which the power belongs to a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by the leaders and representatives elected by those citizens to govern according to law

Which is what we have and what the cotus promises.

As for your idea that republicans believe in "one man", dems do the exact same thing when their guy is elected.

No one was formally accused of being an insurrection. They are IN JAIL for breaking existing laws. They went to court and were judged on those laws and proven guilty, That is why they are in jail

Four years after the attack, about one-third of the defendants had been charged with assault on or interference with law enforcement officers. Other charges include trespassing; disrupting Congress; theft or other property crimes; weapons offenses; making threats; and conspiracy, including seditious conspiracy.

By July 2023, 629 defendants had pleaded guilty. Of the 129 others who went to trial, 87 were convicted of all charges, two were acquitted of all charges, and 40 received mixed verdicts (convicted of at least one charge, and acquitted or a hung jury on at least one charge).

Here’s How the Capitol Mob Violated Federal Criminal Law

By storming the Capitol and disrupting the electoral-count certification, yesterday’s mob likely violated many federal criminal laws, including against seditious conspiracy

Having shown all the facts to you above, do you still believe these people are in jail for politics? If you do, you are a Trump puppet.
Oh good grief. Get back to us when you have cross words about the left who invaded the Capitol for the Kavanaugh hearings or the Supreme Court, or the assault on the white house in 2016.

Trump was on a good track until covid came along. As long as someone doesn't throw another novel corona virus at us, he will probably do well again.

First of all, it has been the Republicans that have tried to change the Democratic Republic that we have had.. They have gerrymandered the districts so that it favor them. Second of all, they have tried to make it difficult (if not impossible) for the Blacks, the poor, the young and the aging to vote as they have tried to take away the right to vote by mail and have made it difficult for the poor, the young and the old from voting.

Democratic Republic and Democracy are about the same thing, except that in a Democracy, to total vote wins and in a Democratic Republic, the electoral vote wins. The gerrymandering that they have used, has been used to have the electoral vote in their favor.

Democrats don't gerrymande?

Nobody is trying to make it harder for blacks to vote, stop listening to those lies.

Yes, democrats believe in majority rule, and direct vote from the people should decide on that majority. That's not the form of government we are supposed to have, according to the cotus
