White House inadvertently texted top-secret Yemen war plans to journalist

I see that Trump says that Waltz has "learned his lesson".

So there ya go! Case closed! Lesson learned!

Phew! That was a close one!

:spinner:
Breaking now... The FBI is investigating this... no one knows how this reporter was added to the call... could it be that one of Biden's holdovers has leaked the account to this reporter?....

What does Hillary have to do with Trump's people being so stupid and incompetent as to discussing battle plans on a public app?????

Deflect fail.

These people need to be fired for stupidity and incompetence, and for endangering national security on a daily basis.

They should never have been appointed, much less confirmed, but they sure do look good on TV.
Lies.

What do you have FuckBoi? We have admissions by everyone involved as to what happened. You have your usual trolling insults, and claims that we're all liars, which is to say, NOTHING.

Even worse, we have the transcript of the group chat, so Gabbard is in deep shit for having brazenly lied to the Senate.
No classified info, Simp.

Deal with it.

Here's an analogy for ya: You are driving your car and are distracted by a conversation in the back seat, and inadvertently drive straight through an intersection at which you had a red light.

The fact is that no harm was done, and it should serve as a lesson to pay closer attention all the time when driving. You will pay closer attention in the future, eh?

Then someone in the car starts spouting off about all of the terrible things that COULD HAVE HAPPENED because of your screw-up. Everyone in the car could have gotten killed. You could have run into a minivan filled with 8-year olds, and on and on.

But no harm was done.

This is the Democrat response to the inadvertent security breach. The information COULD HAVE somehow leaked to the Hooties in Yemen! They could have been prepared with anti-aircraft weapons! They could have avoided any harm by taking measures! Owe. Mai. Gawdddddddd!

But the fact remains...no harm was done. And the inadvertent leaker will - I guaran-*******-tee you NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. And everyone else on that call and everyone else using the Signal software will be much more careful in the future.

So, not only was no harm done, it will have a net beneficial effect.

Pay no attention to the Democrats. They have NOTHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT so they will exploit the hell out of this non-event. Happily, our beloved President has refused to over-react, as demanded by the Democrats and the MSM.

What a stupid attempt at deflection. What has Trump's Top Advisors inviting a reporter to a group chat on a public app that is easily hacked, have to do with Trump not fixing things???

You're trolling your own thread, because you've had your ass handed to you on a plate - as usual.

"CIA Director John Ratcliffe on Tuesday blew up Jeffrey Goldberg’s claim that an undercover CIA agent was a part of the Signal chat group during a hearing before the Senate Intel Committee.

Ratcliffe also confirmed that Signal is approved for work use and that the previous administration communicated using the double-encrypted app.

It was reported on Monday that Jeffrey Goldberg, the anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claimed he was accidentally added to a secure Signal group chat where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

According to Jeffrey Goldberg, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance were in a Signal group called “Houthi PC small group,” discussing plans to strike terrorists in Yemen.

Rather than exiting the chat group, Goldberg took screenshots and published a report in The Atlantic."

We all see what's coming, right? trump is downplaying the breach, congressional Repubs, The Following, and RWM will fall in line, and it will be jammed down the memory hole along with putting the national security at risk by appointing this bunch of clowns in the first place.
Bingo.

Republicans in control of Congress reacted with a collective shrug on Tuesday to the revelation that top Trump administration national security officials had used a messaging app to chat about military operations, even as Democrats expressed outrage and called for an investigation and resignations.

One day after the existence of a group chat about airstrikes in Yemen — and the inclusion of a journalist in it — came to light, leading Republicans and most rank-and-file G.O.P. lawmakers refrained from criticizing the administration, though some suggested they might look into how the breach had occurred.

Senator John Thune of South Dakota, the majority leader, told reporters that there were “errors in judgment” among the officials who took part in an encrypted group chat on the app Signal. He initially suggested it was up to the Trump administration to address them, but later appeared open to the possibility of the relevant Senate committees beginning their own inquiry.

Well we do know that Trump Russia Russia was not a HOAX  as well as "Suckers and Losers":rolleyes: and "Fine People both sides":rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well it appears Mr. HEGSETH is "passing this off" as possibly another HOAX :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ok,

So if a cop was monitoring that intersection, should the cop ?????

Let the driver go?
Give them a ticket for running the red light?

Drive through an intersection with a red light and you get a TICKET
Whether you hurt someone or not, you still get punished

I had a Secret Clearance for 40 years.

If I inadvertently leaked SECRET information to someone without clearance or need to know, my excuse would not be…..Golly, you can be sure I will never let that happen again, I will be more careful in the future.

I would have had my clearance pulled which would have cost me my job.

Right?

Top Republicans testified that no classified information was released.

But when Democrats demanded a transcript be released……they refused
